I think I may just be going back on 4th. The powers that be may have granted a day off on the 3rd..
Thats unfair! im out the 20th 'til the 4th and I have 3 extra days off.
It`s unfair that you are off one day before me and starts one day later. ~:pissed:

ok.. thanks for clearing that one up Craterus, let's hope people understand that I wasn't talking about 2008 :san_rolleyes:
So... anyway, I meant the 23rd of December.

My last day is also the 23rd of December, because of that daft twit of a Director of Education the City of Dundee has...

I finish on the 20th. But I don't have any lessons on that day anyway, neither does anybody my college.:san_laugh:
I am in 2 hours on the monday and that is that week finished.
Why do they make us come in for one day you ask?
EMA, people will get paid EMA for that week.
I will back in on the 5th of January.

Leaving town on Friday, back by the new year.

Finishing school on 16th at 2:00pm (usually 3pm, but school lets us go early on days before major holidays). I don't exactly know when i return to that pit of despair though...
P.S. Craterus, the fact you knew (or looked it up) that the next Friday 19th is extremely disconcerting.

I get off next Wednesday (22nd) until the 2nd. We have a long school year compared to the rest of the area, and apparently a short break compared to everybody here, except Dutch.

I come back on the 10th, and have three important assessments set for that first weeks back in Mathematics and Chemistry and Classics; Two essays to write for English for the first week back; An important Physics assessment on the second week. On the week beginning the 23rd of January my Preliminary Higher Exams begin -- very important stuff -- with lengthy exams over two weeks...
This shall not be a restful holiday...

I have off from Dec 16th to Jan 20th.
Lucky...:san_sad:
I finish at 12.20pm on friday 16th, we dont have last two lessons which is cool. I just wished I didnt have a maths test tommorrow and like every teacher under the sun thinks the holidays is a chance to give us a big important piece of work (IE. I will have French coursework which makes up like 25% of my GCSE :()
I'm out Friday. It's charity day, which means I sacrifice one of my vitally important chemistry lessons to do nothing useful. How wonderful.

Yesterday, I did half an hour of work and that was just drawing interfaces. Then after my 2 hour lunch we played quizzes from this website http://www.quizardry.com/ for 3 hours.
Today one teacher was off, so for 4 hours we did next to nothing, but it very incredible boring. Then in the afternoon we played another quiz for 2 hours.
Two days of sit-off lessons.
I get out at 2:16 next Wednesday. I come back on the 3rd of January.

For some strange and highly improbable reason the minute my holiday started I got sick. At 9AM, the very time my lessons would have started, I felt terrible. This continued through the day slowing getting worse, then better and then worse again. I forgot to sign on at the job centre.:san_sad:
Last night I had a series of strange dreams, featuring dwarfs, a supermarket, Civ4 and me as the Doctor. I was travelling through time for some odd reason. Normally I dream I am Viking lord.:san_shocked:
Today I got up at 6:15, had a hot lemon drink, then I was sick. I went back to bed. Later I got up, had some corn flakes and orange juice. Later these came back to haunt me.

Tomorrow's my last day. Hopefully I shall study the chemistry of mince pies and chocolate and explosives in my first and only lesson of the day, before the entire school marches along to the parish church (Church of Scotland) and finishes the Christmas Service at midday, then I go home!
