OK I'm just a noob and all but I have already found some bugs and wanted to report and since there is no thread already created I thought I would make one now.

As with all threads of this nature please read all the posts to see if your particular bug has already been reported.

1. When a horde stack seiges a fortification they instantly have rams and can assault the fort.

2. Click for AI control still does not always work. I have heard that if there is a general in the second army then that army will automatically be controlled by AI. Very bad! :san_undecided:

3. If I move a general with a high christian conversion rate into an enemy province I can flip that city. Even if that city doesn't flip, when I take the city it will be entirely Christian. (depending on length of time general is in province) But even after I destroy the Pagan temple I have a ton of unrest that does not seem to go away many turns after. I am at a loss as to why this occurs. If I just take the city without converting the populous my unrest is not as much and as long.

4. Units on a wall that are standing in front of the enemy ladders will move out of the way of the ladders on their own and just before the enemy climbs up. This is not cool.

That's all I have for right now, but I'm sure some of you have some of your own. Please try to stay on topic.

I have'nt checked on it in a while and it has'nt been updated since the patch came out. Since it's out of date you can pm a mod for a sticky but that means keeping it up to date for at least a month as long as your willing to do the work there should'nt be a problem.

Also look at the fromat used and try to use a format similar to the link above or like redharvest rtw 1.5 bug report

When using siegetowers units seem to get stuck in an endless loop trying to get on the tower. Ie they march at the entrance in circles, some go a bit onto the ramp before turning back. And you have to stop and restart them over and over again in order to get them onto the tower so that you can get them up on the wall.

Are you sure that 1 and 4 are not features and not bugs? #4 is probably a hardcoded engine room allocation thing.

I can't imagine that 1 is a feature. What would be the point of that? The fortification is supposed to by the player some time to bring up reinforcements. Why allow the enemy to seige and attack in 1 turn?

I don't think 4 is a feature either. It would be better to take the enemy as they come up the ladders and therefore imediately surround them than to move out of their way and allow them up and allow more enemy up behind them.

Noticed that the enemy's missiles don run out.

Archers as well as skirmishers.

I was standing in front of the city square giving my troops a short break before the final attack.
When I noticed that 2 skirmishers (2 guys not units) kept on hitting me with missiles.

After this I tested it with archers.
My units behind some buildings while the enemy's archers shooting never hitting missiles.
I putted triple speed on and waited about 10 minutes.
The little bastard kept on firing at me. :questiong:

(This is BI though)

Are the men actually shooting projectiles or just going through the animation? I have seen entire units of my skirmishers going through the motions with releasing a single javelin: they probably realized it would hit a building and not the enemy. A.I. units do run out of ammunition in R:TW.

With the archers I didn’t really see any missiles.
But the two javelins where definitely throwing something.
They even killed 2 horsemen.

Sorry, I wasn't clear. I meant that some men were actually shooting, the rest was just going through the motions.

Well, I didn't see any arrows.
But I heard the sound of missiles being fired.
