Using Eb what do you think would be the best historical representation of a British army?
Thank you :happyg:

The first step would be to call them by their best historical name, the Casse.

That will probably help in any case.

Depends on the period and region of Britain. For our 'British' faction (the Casse), they have a pretty good type of army compared to a lot of their historic neighbors (which is why we selected them; they were local military powerhouses, as well as influential traders). Their early army would be most composed of Lugoae/Gaeroas (militia warbands {mostly in the earlier periods, they were used less and less in armies} or spike-haired semi-professional spearmen), a few fewer Botroas (spike-haired swordsmen), a unit or two of chariots, and, if a little later period, a few units of Calawre or a unit of Rycalawre to encourage the army. Once we have the British cavalry in, a two-three units of those would probably be realistic as scouts/harriers that accompany the army.
