As it states in the readme in a rather strange manner as it ommits how to run it:

When first playing, please make sure to load the campaign script every time you first start a campaign, and any time you load a saved game. Whenever you click on certain game elements and the script is not running, the advisor will pop up to remind you. This is very important; much of the EB game experience is found in scripting, and so not running this will be very problematic.

What is this campaign script, where is it, and how do I run it?

It's not hard. Just click what the advisor tells you to click at the start of your game.

Make sure you haven't turned your advisor off, though, otherwise you're screwed

To activate the campaign script you must click on the "show me how" button of the advisor each time you begin or load a campaign.

Btw I have myself a problem, when I load my Pontos campaign the advisor pops up but the show me button is grayed and I can't use it.
I decided to make a naw Pontos camapaign but there is the same problem I think that the script doesn't work because the first time I attacked Sinope I was told that I was now at war with the Greek Cities, in my new campaign I attacked Sinope and this hasn't occured so...How make the script come back ?

Advisor settings do not have any effect on our advisor, you can well set advice to off.

Have you started/load your campaigns with a freshly restarted Rome or after playing a campaign with another faction? That is a possible and known (though I'm not sure if it's in the known issues list) cause for that kind of a bug, which is due to some unintentional script state saving CA left in, and this causes conflicts with multiple campaigns in single Rome startup. The problem is being loked into, and hopefully fixed soon.

To start the script, as soon as you load or start a game, click on a city that you own, not double click, just single click... When the adviser appears, click the big circle which has the picture of the advisor in it, and then a button will appear underneath that big circle with his picture in it called 'show me how'... Click that and then the advisor disappears and the script is started, and it's as simple as that. Just click on a city, the advisor, then show me how.

Dayve, does the advisor not provide you with any advice text?

I don't know about Dayve but he hasn' provided me with any advice text (I'm at about 254BC in the casse campaign). The only time he has was when I attacked sinope as pontus.

He does give me some advice text sometimes but i never listen to it... I just click on a building, click his picture and then click show me how and he disappears for the rest of the game.
