EBWorld.com (http://www.ebworld.com/ebx/categories/products/product.asp?pf_id=168704) reports the following requirements (which seem a bit low) for the original STW:

Pentium 200 MHz; 32 MB RAM; 4X CD-ROM; Windows 98/95; 3D accelerator card optional.

Considering WE/MI adds coastal maps, Thunder Bomber pyrotechnics and dust from marching troops, the requirements could be signifianctly higher when using those options. The dust thing, at least, should require a higher-end 3D accelerator and significantly more memory, but then again, you can probably turn it off in the Performance menu.

What the requirements will officially be is known only to CA, if even them (it could be they define them after getting the beta test reports).

(NOTE: My primary computer no longer meets any requirements, as it blew out its power source yesterday. Assuming the short-circuit didn't fry any of the other internal components, I'll get it back from the repair shop sometime next week. Until then, my presence in the Dojo will be significantly reduced: my secondary computer is a Cyrix 5x86 / 100MHz piece of junk with a *14.4kbps* modem. My computer is a Cyrix 300Mhz with 128 Mo SDRAM, and a modest Voodoo 1 (!!!) 4Mo.

For the moment, STW works fine on it.

I hope it will be the same for the expansion pack...
