I finished soccer practice and I needed a ride home so I asked a senior (someone who can drive) for a ride home. He said he was going to go to Smoothie King, which is a smoothie shop. Anyway, I got a smoothie called "The Hulk", which I later found out had 2000 calories!
Now, I have 6 hours of soccer practice a day so it's no big deal, but that's a hell of a lot of calories!
Just wanted to let you know:gring:

Whats in the Hulk Smoothie?
Personally I make smoothies at home... banana, milk and whey powder is standard. Colostrum and/or creatine and a few others depending on what else I have done.
Strawberry smoothies are nice as well... mind you a quick ice coffee or milo smoothie would be nice this New Years Day when it hits 41C...

What's is in the Hulk Smoothie:
You may order: Chocolate, Vanilla, or Strawberry
-Bananas
-butter pecan ice cream
-weight gain powder
-egg protein
-other various high protein and carb powders
It's really very good, but it's just got sooo many calories

-Bananas = King of fruit, good for the nads too.
-butter pecan ice cream = yummy, probably there for flavour, texture and calories
-weight gain powder = this is made to add extra calories to a diet, bodybuilders often find it hard to consume enough calories to prevent muscle consumtion.
-egg protein = this has the highest absorption rate of proteins of any food.
-other various high protein and carb powders = which is in line with a high calorie weight gaining formula.
The hulk is just that, if you are finding that you are losing too much muscle/weight from your exercise then this type of smoothie is for you. However if you were trying to lose excess waist fat for instance (me) this would be caloric overkill.

It's actually two. We go from 9-12 am then we go 1-4 pm.
We get the hour between the two, to eat...

Just in time for New Years...
The Hangover Smoothy/Fizzie:
1 Banana
2 eggs, raw, shell-less
2 tabs Alka-Seltzer (tm)
2 aspirin (600-800 mg) (WARNING: don't substitute Tylenol or ibuprofin; liver damage possible)
6 oz Gatorade
1 fingertip of horseradish/wasabi
1 oz vodka or gin (clear liquor)
Blend. Serve on ice. Water back. When done, repeat, without the liquor. You'll be 'normal' within 2 hours.
Hangover joke:
man wakes up at home with a huge hangover. He forces himself to open his eyes, and the first thing he sees is a couple of aspirins and a glass of water on the side table.
He sits down and sees his clothing in front of him, all clean and pressed. He looks around the room and sees that it is in perfect order, spotless, clean. So is the rest of the house. He takes the aspirins and notices a note on the table.
"Honey, breakfast is on the stove, I left early to go shopping. Love you!"
So he goes to the kitchen and sure enough there is a hot breakfast and the morning newspaper. His son is also at the table, eating. The man asks, "Son, what happened last night?"
His son says, "Well, you came home around 3 AM, drunk and delirious. Broke some furniture, puked in the hallway, and gave yourself a black eye when you stumbled into the door."
Confused, the man asks, "So, why is everything in order and so clean, and breakfast is on the table waiting for me?"
His son replies, "Oh, that! Mom dragged you to the bedroom, and when she tried to take your pants off, you said, "Lady leave me alone! I'm married!"
Self-induced hangover -- $100.00
Broken furniture -- $2,000.00
Breakfast -- $10.00
Saying the right thing while drunk -- PRICELESS!

lol I thought aspirin gave you liver damage too when mixed with the sauce.
If not, i need to rethink my take on pills, as I never take any because I'm paranoid and Dick Cheney wants to kill me.
2000, wow. That sounds like a great way of trafficjamming your main arteries but smoothies are great, especially with yoghurt + kiwi.

Straight aspirin poses a potential stomach-lining problem, when taken with large amounts of alcohol. http://www.drugs.com/MTM/aspirin.html No liver contraindications. My alkie-smoothie/fizzie above only calls for a half-shot of clear licker, to serve as an accelerant, and temporary 'hair of the dog that bit ya'.
p.s. I hear El Jefe Cheney seeks a new chief-of-staff...maybe he just wants to offer you the job? Have you ever talked on the phone to a reporter?

Herself, I suppose. :idea2:
I think she is being sarcastic because that kind of caloric intake can make you fatter then you could ever imagine if you just sit around playing D&D.
I wonder how many calories a coke has.

Asprin= thins stomach lining, can cause ulcers with excessive use over time
Paracetamol= Causes liver damage in high doses and when taken with alcohol.
Ibuprofen= Least likely to have side effects when abused- however some studies have linked it with increased risk of heart disease when used in large quantities over time
Codeine= Most powerful pain releif but as an opiate analogue that is broken down into an opiate in the liver (hence its effectiveness) it can be potentially addictive and often comes bundled with aspirin or paracetamol.
If you can get by without them you might as well not take them. All drugs can lose their effectiveness over time so you might as well leave them until you do need them.
If you are looking to reduce the pain after an over-indulgence, look no farther than Vitamin B complex pills. Your body uses up B complex when metabolizing alcohol, and the lack of B saps your energy, causes headaches, etc. A glass of water (dehydration is another side effect) and a B-complex pill before going to bed helps tremendously, and has no side effects.
And what, may you ask, is a good source of Vitamin B complex? Brewer's yeast. The same stuff that creates the alcohol helps your body break it down. If you homebrew, you probably already know this, but hangovers from homebrew are much reduced, since there is still a lot of yeast in homebrew beer. Commercial beer companies usually filter out as much as they can for taste reasons. Gives a clean, crisp taste, but you will pay for it later.
