When is the complete mod of EB coming out, the one without the bugs and CTDs? Will it be easier to install? I seriously want to play this game with all my heart but I keep getting errors.

You can play it now... If you're getting errors when you try to install then you're not installing it correctly... And everybody else here have been able to play a single campaign for quite a long time... In fact only one person that i know of here has run into a CTD that has continued and made him unable to continue that campaign...

I have no idea when the full version will be released but it won't be anytime soon i don't think so i would enjoy the beta and forget about the full version for now like everybody else is doing.

No release date exists; we'll work on it till it's done. We have a lot to add, a lot to fix, and probably some stuff to trim still. It'll be done when it's done.

I install it correctly but I get an error message after I click on the desktop item, you know after the screen pops up than it goes away and i get a message saying
Script error in data/descr_event_images.txt, at line 623,column 1
unknown event string faction_defeat_by_player
I re-installed EB and got the same message, My first attempt (before these two) i got a similar box that something like
File does'nt exsist eOA, But after I re-installed RTW and the 1.2 patch The orginal RTW would not play, then installed EB and got that script error message.. I am attempting to re-install EB again from another source but i doubt that will work, I am dying to play this, and I haven't gotten past the first screen that pops up What do you think i should do? :wall:

unknown event string faction_defeat_by_playerThis indicates an error in the RTW installation, the 1.2 patch installation, or a leftover from another patch or BI.

Since this problem would affect every single person that installs EB if it were an EB problem (It indicates that an event found in descr_event_images.txt does not exist in the events definitions), and since only a few people have had similar problems, and all solved their problems through a reinstall of RTW and the 1.2 patch, I can safely say with 100% certainty that is is not caused by EB itself, though perhaps a corruption during the download may cause installation errors.

The way to solve it is to remove RTW and BI entirely from your computer, then go to run and type in regedit, go to hkey_local_machine and software and delete anything that has anything to do with RTW or it's patches... Then go through your my documents and delete any old links and what not... Go to the activision folder and make sure no traces of RTW exist there... Then restart your computer, install RTW, add the 1.2 patch, then add EB... Then delete the map.rwm from (i think) data/world/maps/campaign (or one of the folders in there)... Then i'm fairly sure it'll work...

When you're downloading EB, just exit everything and leave the computer alone until it's done... Sometimes the file gets corrupted if you surf the net or try to play a game or download something else when one thing is downloaded...
