Major problem playing as the Romans. Just having taken two cities on the Island of Sicily (early in the game). The game on the campaign map slowed down to a grinding halt animations slowed down and mouse movement, then as the AI was taking its turn the game jumped forward to 14 AD and the end of the game. Unfortunatly this became the auto save, I have a save about 10 turns before in 250 BC.Even more unfortunately my knowledge of computer programming is nil. The game was playing correctly with no problems to speak of, the script was activated everything seemed fine I think we have a serious problem here. What should I do know besides being the bearer of bad news.

Edit: There seems to be to many variations for me to reproduce this occurrence again with any certainty. It is a bit late here now so I will try in the morning. Could one small mistake cause this I don’t know, I’m also pissed off with myself for not saving, was enjoying the game too much

It's a known bug and they've fixed it for the next patch release... I had it earlier today... What i did was: Save the game on the turn where it jumps to 14AD, then load the game so the campaign script is turned off... Then end the 14AD turn and on the next turn you will get a 'failed campaign' message... Just click the tick to continue playing and close all the messages that come down the side of the screen and then re-activate the script and everything is back to normal. :2thumbsup:

Thanks very much problem fixed, I am having one of those mornings believe or not my new BENQ drive refused to respond a replacement for another one with the same problem, replaced that with a Philips from another computer. You would never imagine it would be so hard to build an empire, thanks again.
