Help wanted

Hi can anyone help me? I have been enjoying my Greek campaign and have steadily beaten the Senate army in a serious of epic battles. I have attacked Rome and everytime i win and take the city the game crashes on me. Its happened three times now and is really frustrating.

Can anyone help?

First of all: welcome to the Org!

Perhaps you can give a bit more info on your RTW install? Which version do you play? 1.0? 1.2? Do you have BI?

And then hopefully some more experienced members can help you better :grin2:

One suggestion:

Does your game crash when ever another faction is wiped out by you, or when you win the game (if you can get to that state easily)? (Alternatively try starting a game as romans and see what happens when you go to the senate page, does it crash then?)

If it crashes in these cases its to do with the videos playing (in this case the victory video for wiping out the SPQR), its an old issue I used to have as well as others. I can't recall the solution but I'm sure others can, it requires re-installing media player (either the copy with R:TW or another version) I think.

Thanks for the reponses.

It has only crashed so far when i take Rome, i played a whole campaign as the Romans and no problems at all.

I have installed the 1.3 patch and do not have B.I.

Any help would be great.
