Even if he is holding a knife this is rediculous...

Eh, I need more background on this.
What was he doing before the police confronted him?
Had he commited a crime?
Was he endangering people, threatening officers, etc?
What was the situation in general?

:laugh4: Sweet! But seriously, that's why they have non lethal weapons and should use them. And the pathetically general title seriously detracts from anything serious you have to say. But if that was your point than :2thumbsup: .

It would have been better to shoot the man. Now we have to use tax dollars on body damage to the car and the meter. What a waste.

But think of the paper work man! The cops would have needed mental help not due to shooting the man but the hours of paper work. That would have costed the tax payers many more dollars that fixing a car. Its a shame though when good cops go bad due to filling out thousands of papers.

Anyway, all I can say is.

Pwnt.

Plus I would have unloaded on him and been done with it.

Lets all thank God I don't plan on being a Cop.

Perhaps we all should pass the hat and start a STFS professional entertainment fund?

The lad definitely needs to TCB and ease his tensions. Probably an after-effect of a disappointing TA&M season....

Wow I expected a clip where the guy was shot 400 times or something. He should consider himself lucky.

Maybe they didnt have non-lethal things on their person at the time. Screw this guy he should have dropped th knife. I'm no fan of police misbehaviour and even fear some police as much as I fear criminals, but this is the wrong clip to start your anti-US police rant with. In most places he would have just been shot as soon as he walked towards the cop while holding a blade.

:inquisitive: yuck

'unloading' on a criminal is probably the last thing I'd do.....

but whatever floats your boat

When surrounded by police yelling "Put the knife down!" while pointing guns at you there is only one thing to do - put the knife down.

They had every right to shoot him. A person with a knife within twenty feet of you is an immediate and deadly threat. If he does not comply with police orders to disarm and approaches an officer they can shoot him on the spot.

I have to say, it worked.
