Why is RTW the ONLY game I know that makes you type in the CD key AFTER you installed it? I had the CD key when I installed it but shortly afterwords I lost the CD case, I didnt think that mattered very much, but after that I realized you needed the CD key to play multiplayer (Which is dumb in my opinion).

So now I cant play multiplayer...Forever, it sucks.

Hmm, that's a pickle. I suppose enquiring at CA wouldn't help as they can just say you could be using an illegal copy and this is an excuse. The only thing I can think of would be to buy it again, only £10 on play.com and if you sell your current copy to a friend/other person for like a fiver (a fiver even if its just for sp is a great deal imo) then you would get some money back.

Tis is a pity you lost the CD case. I find the CD key is normally always printed on the manual though, or maybe that's just Activision and/or the UK.

Yeah, think about putting your CD-only RTW (with manual, box etc) on EBAY (http://www.ebay.com/), the game itself is still in demand and you're likely to earn yourself a decent amount from it. S'pose you'll have to let them know about the CD-Key issue, but there are always willing buyers on EBAY - people buy anything ~D

AFAIK.

If you take a pick of the cd or send the cd to ca, Most times they will issue you a new cd key or replace the game,
I cant guarantee this is CA's policy.
But most game maufaturers use this policy.

send them a message see what they say about your request.

Please don't send a CD or game here.

Despite what everyone seems to think, CA do not have a manufacturing plant. That's not what we do in development.

Manufacturing the physical product is handled by the publishers, and their helpline should be the first port of call when dealing with a physical problem with your game. You manual should have a support line number listed.
