Here's a question for all you MTW conoisseurs out there: Do rebels and bandits, re-emerging factions and the Horde receive a morale bonus for their troops from the morale-boosting buildings in the province even if the buildings happen to belong to another religion? I know that troops that appear as a result of a rebellion, Crusade/Jihad, re-emergence or faction appearance (Horde, Swiss, Burgundians) receive any valour bonuses given by the buildings of the province and any armour/weapon bonuses.

It just got me thinking, that it would be interesting to build up Khazar so that it has a church, monastery, reliquary and cathedral, and then wait for the Horde to appear with uber-morale troops. (+7 morale in total)

I think it could be entirely possible if they get weapon bonuses. Although i'm far from an expert on the game mechanics. So i'll leave it for somebody else more learned to explain.

This is a great question. I'm pretty sure the Horde gets weapons/armor upgrades when they show up in a built-up Khazar. I've never looked at whether normal rebels/re-emergences get the upgrades. Morale bonuses as well? That could hurt...

Since they get weapon and armour upgrades, it is quite reasonable to assume they get morale bonuses as well, but I have never seen it proven. Also, reemerging factions get an additional morale bonus because there is no retreat possible.
