The first 6 weeks is hard, but I got minor amounts of sleep after that point that I wasn't dreaming in the day about getting sleep. :help:

Congrats. And not all newborns keep you from sleeping, just most. I've had relatives whose babies slept for 8+ hours every night, or so they say:inquisitive:

So far sleeping has not been that much of a problem, for me at least. My wife has to get up and do the feeding. After he is done eating I just have to burp him, then change him and than he falls asleep pretty quick.
Of course thats now, am sure in a few weeks when he is not sleeping as much it will not work that way.

And forget about his first steps, teaching him how to burp properly is your job as a Dad. My kids are 8 and 10 and they can ruffle trees from ten yards away.

Just a little advice, keep an eye on that cat, they've been known to suck the breath out of infants. Check out snopes for the full story.:inquisitive: :laugh4:
