Now. let me begin by saying I do not watch Big Brother.
But, we are presently enduring "celebrity" big brother in the UK, and I gather from the press that there is a glamour model in it and everyone is giving her a very hard time.
(Just in case you imagine this is because all the other contestants are selfless workers for world peace I should say they include an "entertainer" who had to flee the country after a man was found dildoed to death in his swimming pool, a very bad actress from the 1980s, some transvestite who no one has ever heard of wearing the skins of endangered animals, and George Galloway MP.)
Now, OK I don't suppose the model is necessarily the sharpest tool in the box but its interesting everyone is giving her a hard time just because she gets her baps out for a living. What is it about pr0n that gets people so upset? Guilt because they enjoy it and can't admit it? or would it be legitimate to say that pr0n encourages sexist atitudes to women and so women who help make it are traitors to their gender in some way?

Shes self obsessed, Whiney, crude And vulgar.

if shes still ther you may want to watch her for a hour or so And see what you decide About her, (its not her job Its Her)

I hope George Galloway gets pulled up in front of some kind of select committee for participating in this farce, rather than, you know, being an MP to his constituents. If I lived in Bethnal Green I'd be fuming.

How can anyone take George seriously after being on that show and pretending to be a cat?:dizzy2:
I can't see anything immoral about it, myself. As far as I know the Brits did a study on porn that gathered all of the research ever done in the area and they came to the conclusion that it caused no harm at all, besides the obvious times when real violence is used. This issue has put a huge rift in the feminist movement too, as they cannot agree w/ each other.

WOW! I saw he was going to be a contestant, but I figured he had retired/lost an election. We don't get the UK Big Brother over here (BBC America actually is quite entertaining, we don't get too much of your rubbish TV). If a Senator or Representative, while in office, went and did something like that, he'd probably be facing a substantial recall effort by his constituency before he even got voted out of the house.
I guess 'glamour model' is a euphemism for a pornstar. I thought you meant an actual model, like Tyra Banks for Kate Moss or something. Hmm, there have been knockoffs of Big Brother here in the states that had pornstars (The Surreal Life comes to mind). I think women hate pornstars, because they're jealous that their husbands/boyfriends watch them and/or wank to them. Not sure what men have against them though.

Annual salary of an MP: £57,485
(Maximum) time George Galloway could be in Big Brother: 3 weeks
So amount of money the tax payer is giving Gorgeous George for doing nothing: £3316, assuming he works for 52 weeks a year, which he doesn't.
Plus, Galloway is missing some votes in the Commons that are very relevant to his constituency.

Not porn, really. Just topless modelling, normally-a bit more risque than swimsuit stuff, but nothing approaching even softcore porn. They mostly appear in Lads' mags and on Page 3 (Page 3 of most British tabloid newspapers, especially the Sun, traditionally has topless women on it)
I really don't think this is do do with her getting the melons out every now and again; it's more about her being very dim and George being a bit arrogant.

You are a strange one...

I do also, I think it is a huge piss take...I thought I heard people on the news moaning (quite rightly) about this very thing.

I believe that envy can lead sometimes to an state of simulated moral superiority. But there could be other causes, I'm not the man to talk about it.

Was Galloway "paired" with a member of the opposing party so that his absence would not affect the votes or is he simply shirking his duty for a bit of celebrity?

His party, Respect, has only one MP - him. Pairing only works between the two biggest parties. From this, we can infer that the latter suggestion is correct.
