First id like to thank you for this expirance and making RTW what it should have been...

I started my campaign as the Great People of Carthage..but as of the first turn i noticed my capital city in extreame debt...So i go about disbanding all but 1 fleet..and building farms//trades for income saving me from spiraling debt.

Before i moved on sicily i knew the Romans would give me a very hard time, so i look for an ally, and naturally find the Epirotes.

Next i moved on sicily, i took my spy and checked how many men in each city, Messena looked like an easier fight, but i attacked Syracuse anyways. I starve Syracuse until it has one turn left and they attack. First they send there melee straight into my peltests and many are killed before the melee even begins..the melee begins and it looks even, i then take Hamalcar and my elephants and slam them into the flanks and backs of the enemy phalanx, they instantly rout and i gain a herioc victory! This Hamalcar, my new promising general, the conquerer of Syracuse, the greatest of the Hellenic Cities on Sicily!

Next i move on Messena, but before doing so i do notice i could use troops and my economy was booming, so i hire 5 units of mercenaries to aid my troops. I seige Messena, and after 1 turn i assault the city. I brought 3 Rams, after they all break down the 2 walls and 1 gate, i send my men in. On the left side of the wall my men were crushing the rebels, and the center was the same story, however my right was not. One unit already routed of mine, but my left and center crushed there opponents and rushed to aid, leaving me with a clear victory!

Following this my allies the Epirotes seige Rhegion, which then they attack my allies, making me reinforcements..In this battle we lead our allies to a crushing victory. They get the settlement even though we killed over 300 men and they killed less than 50.

After this battle i see a 300 man Roman army not to far away, so i decide to attack them and start a war with the great Roman Empire! My general Hamalcar leds my troops to a Herioc Victory and we win the first battle of the war.

Next in my sites were Capua, there south-western most city. I have my general seige the city, only to next turn be attacked by a full army of Romans looking to help there fellow city. My 720 men led by Hamalcar fought a tough fight against 671 Romans, leaving me with only 386 men remaining, and they were left with 0...But i took Capua! The first faction to take a Roman city!

After taking Capua another 500 man Roman army apears in my sites, so my now 400 man army attacks them..My now famed general Hamalcar yet again crushes the Romans led by Avlvs Hispanlus Hortensivs with a herioc victory, and more importantly, leaving Cannae all for the taking! Hamalcar then seiges Cannae and next turn assaults it! Caivs Avrelivs Cotta is the general leading the defending troops..We out number them 3 : 1, and without a doubt Hamalcar crushes the Romans and takes Cannae. But now 6 months later (2 seasons) my allies the Epirotes have a full army sitting on my border to Cannae...It worries me but what do i do? Attack Roma or send Hamalcar on the border to counter the threat?

I choose to seige Roma hoping to capture the Roman capital and begin the downfall of the Roman Empire. After one turn i assault, with nothing more than 2 seige towers and a ram. But by the time my ram was at the walls it was engulfed in flames, leaving my 2 towers to take the walls, but its not enough and i withdraw...for now.

Next turn i attack again planning on making 3 seige towers a ram and 2 ladders. But before i make any of them an outside force attacks my army despreratly hoping to save there capital. Ha-Ha an unwise move by the AI, leaving me with an advantage 2 : 1 but more importantly, DEFENDING! They kill a measly 50 men while i kill all 300 of there's. But more importantly my prized general has captured Rome!! An accomplishment Hannibal himself would smile upon. Now i shall turn my attention to taking the rest of Italy and Africa!

I would like to thank you again to those who helped make EB the great expirance it is! :balloon2: :2thumbsup:
