the day i met the person i could say this about
when i see you, my heart stops and i skip a breath.
its like everything stopped to see nature's most beautiful
your voice is softer than a nightingales twitter
and i swear i can hear the angels sing in every word
around you dances the parfume of paradise
sweeter than a thousand roses
and when you kiss me, you take my breath away

My perfect day is pretty much everyday...
I wake up every morning with the comfortable knowledge that in 12 hours time I would have helped someone with at leasat one problem your average teenager faces in everyday life. I get to wake up and go to sleep thinking that there is nobody that doesnt like me, I wake up and think how lucky i am to be liked. I wake up knowing that photos like this...
https://img466.imageshack.us/img466/488/playboy9cn.th.jpg (https://img466.imageshack.us/my.php?image=playboy9cn.jpg)
..Don't matter because no one mocks me for it, they percieve it as funny.
I go to sleep happy that I can give good advice to any situation, even those which I myself havn't been in. I go to sleep happy because I am in a band full of my friends...
https://img482.imageshack.us/img482/718/whiteshadowsjpg3dw.th.png (https://img482.imageshack.us/my.php?image=whiteshadowsjpg3dw.png)
...all of whom i love to bits
I live everyday knowing that I am going to see the next, living life to it's fullest is something that comes naturally to me.
I live happily knowing that I am so well liked that I have been nicknamed on so many occasions as "Mr. nice Guy", I live happily each day knowing that in the event of something terrible happening to me, my friends will do all in there power to see me safe. I am happy that my band like me so much that they wrote a song about me (check my sig) and it's the first song we're going to perform at any concert.
Everyday to me is the perfect day, I perseve life as somethign to be enjoyed, not wasted, waking up every morning knowing that, even though I aint fit, good at sports or especially smart, I am peoples hero because I help them. In the brilliant words of Mr. Ray Charles "Live everyday like it's your last, because oneday you're gonna be right"
That is my perfect day, and it happens 365.25 days of the year :2thumbsup:
and just one final picture...

My perfect day begins early and ends late, so lets get started...
The day begins before sunrise standing in a foggy cornfield listening to bugle calls and drums as 15,000 men from the North and South assemble for a reenactment of the beginning of the Battle of Antietam. Chest-pounding canon fire destroys the peacefulness of the morning. As the sun rises and the fog begins to lift you witness the long lines of men in blue marching across a deadly cornfield...
https://home.comcast.net/~gbresslr/images/Perfectday1.jpg
After the last gunshot the morning is still young, so it is off my Dad's cottage in Canada, to sit on the deck and take in all that nature has to offer. Time has no meaning here. The mirror smooth lake mesmerizes while the herons...
https://home.comcast.net/~gbresslr/images/Perfectday2.JPG
...and the haunting call of the loons...
https://home.comcast.net/~gbresslr/images/Perfectday3.JPG
...invoke wonder at the beauty of nature.
Once the lake comes alive with activity, it is time to take the kids out on the water for some tubing. With my evil  cousin at the helm, he shows no mercy to his victims clinging desperately to their tubes.
https://home.comcast.net/~gbresslr/images/Perfectday4.JPG
Once the kids have had enough water up their noses and lost swimming trunks from many spectacular flips, it is back to shore for some dry clothing and a quick lunch. Then we're off for a fast trip back south to Pennsylvania to join 109,000 Penn State fans cheer the Nittany Lions on to victory.
https://home.comcast.net/~gbresslr/images/Perfectday5.jpg
As the last cheers fade, it is time for some dinner and entertainment. The entertainment of choice is classic rock and roll compliments of the talented kids of the School of Rock. The kids are hot tonight with blazing guitar solos, pounding drums and great showmanship.
https://home.comcast.net/~gbresslr/images/Perfectday6.jpg
After the show, there is still time to get back up north to catch a beautiful Canadian sunset on the lake - and we won't let a few tens of thousands of misquitos ruin it either!
https://home.comcast.net/~gbresslr/images/Perfectday7.JPG
The Canadian night sets in, thus comes my time of peace and solitude under that dark, dark, starry sky - just me, my telescope and the heavens.
https://home.comcast.net/~gbresslr/images/Perfectday8.jpg
Good night all.
https://img41.imageshack.us/img41/6565/mcdonalds9zj.jpg

Now we'll figure out who gets the really, really stupid prize. Please don't rush us, some of us have been drinking.
Thanks to those who took the time.
And now, a word from (one of) our blatantly biased, insectedly unfair, and blisteringly unqualified judges.
Hello all, my name is AdrianII. I will be your Euro pinko baby-killing right-wing Social Democratic judge for tonight.
Amidst the merry ‘popping’ sounds of my superior Maxthon browser (which ‘pops off’ a minimum of three pop-ups per .org page these days, thank you, Mr and Mrs Host) I must confess that it was a bit of a tough choice. But between Ian of Smeg16’s self-absorption (are you sure there is nobody who does not like you, mate?) and the rustic scenes painted in fresh, broad axe strokes by our esteemed Beirut or written in blood by sparetime warrior Gregoshi (I, too, like the smell of gun powder in the morning) I managed to establish a tentative aesthetic hierarchy.
Third Prize goes to Mithrandir for vision and compact presentation, as well as steel-willed determination to discard the gazillion pictures available on the Web with two pairs of feet suggestive of all the positions in the Kamasutra and then some. Sex is fine, but give us a break now and then.
Second Prize goes to AlexanderOfMacedon because, well, because his first pic of the snowboarder is darn good. Both in the picture and in the eye of the beholder (as we know from functional psychology) the action starts literally in the left upper corner. The ‘jet stream’ of thin, icy snow in the guy’s wake suggests indomitable energy and reckless speed, and so does the man’s (apparent) utmost concentration. Did I mention that it is an excellent picture?
And the winner is LeftEyeNine for his pictorial tear jerker. Well done, mate, I had to wipe one away myself… not. But the perfect day is a day spent contemplating perfection and several of your pics are really good. I don’t know what the ridiculous first prize from Beirut and BKS will be, but if you send me a PM with your coordinates I will personally send you a postcard of a juicy döner in addition to the official prize. How's that for ridiculous?
Honourable mention must be made of Viking, Kaiser of Arabia and DemonArchangel for consistency of style, senseless destruction and futility.
As expected the Consolation Prize goes to Fragony. He is probably on board his ‘darling’ right now and I am sure the fact that he is not posting at the .org must be some peoples’ idea of a perfect day.
****************************************
That's it. Thanks to those who took part. PMs will follow. My apologies for being so tardy. I'll say it was because I've been drinking (because the truth is stranger than you can imagine).

Thank you so much. I am really in need of such surprises right now regardless of their quality such as being stupid or something else. This was a rather nice trick of coincidence..
AdrianII, I want that postcard. Two surprises at the same time would to great to wind off clouds of acid rain around my mind.
Thanks again to all of you -the judges, the contestants and the lazy audience ~:)

AdrianII, I want that postcard. Are you sure? Well, I couldn't think of anything more stupid than a picture of a döner for a guy who can buy the best döner in the world every day.
Anyway, will do. Just PM me, mate. All the best and cheer up!

AdrianII, check your inbox, it's too late, you promised for a postcard :balloon2:
Ian,
That was AdrianII's way of being a lovely smartass, which he does astonishingly well. To the point of perfection. (He didn't get that award for nothing.)
You sir, I hope, took no real offence. And I personally apologize if you did. You are one of our best Frontroom members, don't ever think your participation here goes unappreciated.
