Artist sketches his own robber (http://www.news.com.au/story/0,10117,17849798-2,00.html)

CARTOONIST Bill "WEG" Green is famous for his AFL Grand Final posters, but a new career as a police sketch artist is beckoning.

A caricature he quickly drew of a burglar he confronted in the backyard of his home at Heathmont, in Melbourne's east, on Saturday morning had the alleged culprit in custody within 30 minutes.

A police search for the intruder was proving fruitless until Green gave them a detailed description and, in a few seconds, had sketched and handed over a caricature of the intruder.

Not realising who Mr Green was, Ringwood police Senior Constable Aaron Roche had been expecting a stick figure drawing.

"We were mainly concerned about trying to catch the offender that was in the area, because it only just occurred and we thought maybe it (the drawing) would be just a stick figure or something like that," he said today.

This was a funny one. Of all the people to attempt to rob, someone who can do an accurate caricature is not top of the list.

Haha, nice one.
except the part where he said he was wearing only his "dressing gown" and didnt want to scuffle because it might fall off. Please tell me where I can find these people so I can go rob them.
