Well. Pretty Simple. Which one of these fine ladies will have your vote in 2008?

Tough. A woman as the Prez, or a black woman despite the fact I loathe the party she represents ? Guess I'd have to go with Hillary.

Not that my opinion would matter anyway, I don't exactly get to vote in US elections from here...

Um, how about neither. No, really, fat chance for either one, although it would be kinda funny to see another Clinton since we had to sit through two Bushes.

neither. we need a pres who's going to unite this country, not further divide it.

I'd vote for Rice, but i would vote for Democrat Ben Nelson. I think he would do a better job reaching across the isle than most of the speculated candidates.

If Clinton runs, she will probably win the nomination and doom us to 4 more years of Republican rule. Hell, the GOP will probably dig up dirt on her Dem opponents just to get her nominated. She has no chance against the GOP spin machine in a presidential election, the GOP could run a gun-toting monkey against her and win.

Ladies and Gentlemen, the next President of the United States of America:

EDIT-> and yes, I would vote for the monkey...

If I had to choose, it would be Rice, but I feel both would suck.

I vote Gah, but only because from now on, I am voting strictly socialist (or Democratic Socialist, depending on which candidate I prefer.) No more of the Diliths for me- and I suggest that everyone follow suit, so that we can tear the great beasts down as soon as possible, and brinig in some real politics! :2thumbsup:

I would think it were an established fact by now that only crooks, jerks and worse can actually become US presidents these days. So at least choose the one you're least uncomfortable with - else the other guy goes and votes someone worse into the office.

Rice wouldn't be qualified to lead the country. She's ready on a diplomatic level, but not for managing the interior.

Not that Bush really is either, but. :juggle2:

Rice isn't running, anyway. She said so recently, but I'm too lazy to dig up a link.

If I had to chose, I'd pick Rice. Because at least the people running the show on the home front would be reactionary nutjobs, instead of leftist pinkos. :help:

Gah! Indeed. :sweatdrop:

I think Rice has good qualities, but, in the end, she's a Republican stooge. A "yes" woman. I don't know of this is a character flaw or if she is simply kept out of decision-making, like Colin Powell. I really think she is a front, a figure with no real power or decision in government policy. She's a compliant arm of the Bush Regime who does what she's told.

I think she has potential (intelligence, extreme dedication); I would love to be able to vote for her.
