What is Baktrian army consisted of if you want to make realistic Baktrian army?

I know that their armies might have varied alot for different eras, rulers, etc. What I still would like to know is that, what are basics of Baktrian armies that I should start modifying/building rest of units...?

Thanks for all suggestions

At a guess i would say that you can't go wrong with a long deep line of phalanx units supported by light infantry (peltasts or thureophoroi) and cavalry with a few units of archers... Easy to manage and guaranteed the Baktrians will have used this setup at some point just like the Greeks and the sucessor states...

A lot of cavalry apparently. A core of pike-armed phalanx, some thureophoroi on the wings, well armored. Possibly a unit of pheraspidai or agema. Sometimes elephants, sometimes not. But the best part was probably cav. Seleukid-like hetairoi along with the cataphracts and some light cav.

The problem is we don't have a lot of good details from multiple battles. One big one was almost all cav, at the Arius river. Good Baktrian cav and hetairoi in formation attacked the seleukids but couldn't win the day. It's been implied that the infantry was not brought along for fear they (mostly greek) would defect. But the more native baktrian cav units and hetairoi were less likely to do so.

I think one more baktrian cav unit also is in current production right now by the way.

So, will we not see these until the final version, or will there be OB "patches" with both fixes and new content?

Patches with new content, AFAIK.

an "AfAIK" from the unit coordinator comes pretty close to "basic fact" I'd guess...~;)
