Ever have dreams that you wake up from but can never remember what it was about?

I know a little something that should help let you remember.

When you wake up, don't move a muscle and don't move your spine. You should slowly begin to remember your dream.

I made a test of that. I had a dream this morning, I remembered it little by little. But, on purpose, I got up very quickly and started moving around, then went back in to sleeping position. I could not remember anything else after that.

The reason you have to stay still is because, when you awake. You're unconcious (dream state) is still linked with your conciousness. And when you move (or get wakened abroputly by a loud noise or your alarm) the link between the two is severed.

I know some of you probobly know about this already. But all I wish to do is share some information with you.

Happy dreams.:2thumbsup:

Do I need a spine to make this successful? :wall:

It might help...

BTW: This is just a theory. May not be true:sweatdrop:

This might be good. Two weeks ago I started getting weird, bizzare dreams every night, but they've stopped. The only one I can remember (partially was something about acid rain in Compton.

This morning I had a dream about being in the public of a gameshow. Apparently I wasn't wearing any pants or underwear, but luckily I sat in a sleeping bag so my goods where all covered. But then the host called out names to come down and participate, and of course I was supposed to go too. So I asked the hostess to come closer and told my problem. Of course she told the entire audience that I had no pants and had to come down regardless :embarassed: In the end I got some colourfull swimming pants but by the time I got to the quizmaster I was no longer needed...
:thinking2:

I woke up sweating like a pig. What use are these dreams?

They are supposed to make you sweat.
Seriously, what's up with the "naked in public" dream?
It seems a recurring scheme. Is that one of our innermost fears?

i dreampt i ate my pillow, when i woke up my 3 foot marshmallow was gone:laugh4:

we had a book about interpreting dreams it was rubish though i stopped bothering with it it kept saying things like you are obsessed with horses and its descriptions of dreams were weird, 'you feel like your floating through a window and turn into a horse etc'

Has anyone ever realised that you were in a dream when your in a dream? its great fun cos then you can control the dream!

A few weeks ago I had a dream in which I was killed, and so I started to think: Hey, this isn't supposed to happen! You never get killed, you always just escape! Then I woke up and realized that dreams in dreams have different rules

Controlling dreams is nice or sometimes I get such a wonderfull feeling and when I wake up I quickly go back to sleep so I can continue that dream.

When you die, you switch dreams. Or wake up.
Is there anyway to continue a dream once you wake up? So many times I had wonderful dreams, yet I wake up, go back to sleep again and it's not the same one.

When I realize that, I always end up awakening myself; not on purpose, but it`s just impossible to stay asleep.

Oh, and I haven`t dreamed for weeks. Perhaps if I see a good grosser movie something, I might manage to do it. :book:

I had dream I going out with Billie Piper.:2thumbsup:

For some reason she kept eating loads of pies (On Doctor Who DVDs, she did say she loves pies). Then I kept called her "the pied piper".:inquisitive:

I think you can only remember dreams when you are about to wake up.

There is a proven way to remember your dreams: keep a dream journal. Every time you wake up, write down everything you can remember. It takes months and months, but you gradually remember more and more, and eventually, you start having lucid dreams. Haven't tried it, but I probably will; my psychology teacher did and she said it works, and lucid dreaming sounds fun.

Wohoo, just remembered a dream where I floaded around on pink fluffy clouds, liking a purple lollypop, while Lou Reeds Perfect Day was played in the background, like waves hitting a sandy beach, then of course it started raining...

nah, I dont believe in dreams

If only I had the luxury of not moving when I began to wake up. Far too often I'm slapping my alarm clock until the ringing stops and then groaning and streching of arms with some eye ball rubbing and stuff.

Oh how I wish to not to race the sun again!

That's weird. Very weird dreams started to come to me about 2 weeks ago. I usually don't remember any dreams, but these last two weeks I have remembered allmost every one of them. :help:
