Interesting AI behaviour concerning Mercenaries I was about to lay siege to the one remaining Epeirot city, could afford to recruit one mercenary unit making armies about equal however on the next turn the Epeirots recruited all available mercenary units in that area and attacked obviously the fact that the AI was getting a large some of money enabled it to do this, the fact that it did the right thing is even more surprising lost by the way.

Yep giving AI many produces nice results.
I for example playing as Gatai made looting expedition to Epirothes lands.
I smack few small epirothes armies and parked my army next to now practicly defencless city. Next i send diplomat with ultimatum, pay 8000 (i would get similar amount of cash from looting) or i attack.
They agreed to pey me 10800 in 3 turns. I axcepted and my army instead of pillaging Epirothes went east to assist macedons (they asked me for allience and i agreed to help them for 7000+ manai).
This hard erned cash proove to be life saver for me when my homland was attacked by Romans about 6-7 years later. Withought it i would be dead right now.
