trubles witch icons for mercenary units

I need some information about icons for mercenary units. I guess, I should copy this icons to the /inits/merc and unit_info/merc folder. So I did it. Unfortunately, when I try to hire this mercenaryunits i can see only peasants icons (standard). What should I do to fix this problem?

you mean the unit cards?

if that is the case, you may have to unpak the pak files, copy the data from that into the rome total war/data folder, rename the UI 1 and UI 0 pak files...

Lentonius - if it would be so simply... I have done it as I should to.

The issue is that in the hiring panel I only can see the peasant icons, but after hiring the same units have proper icons. I do not know why

The right path for unit cards is: Data\ui\units\MERCS
(attention to the S).
I've charged lots of mercenary units and it works fine.
Did you put mercenary_unit as an attribute in export_descr_unit?
