Well there is the dream I posted in the other thread:
I had dream I going out with Billie Piper.:2thumbsup:
For some reason she kept eating loads of pies (On Doctor Who DVDs, she did say she loves pies). Then I kept called her "the pied piper".:inquisitive:
I have had a few other dreams featuring her. I think it is because I have watched the new series of Doctor Who too much. Or maybe I just really fancy her.
I once had a dream I was playing a Star Trek game, only the character I was playing as was Major Sharpe. He eventually got assimilated by the Borg.:skull:

I had a dream that I was a British rifleman at the Battle of Waterloo, and I was at La Haye Sainte, and then I got shot through the back by a French mounted chasseur I believe...and then I woke up :inquisitive: ]
Had another one where I was a Conquistador in Mexico, and although I remember that one very vaguely, I remember meeting a lovely Aztec lady...:2thumbsup:

I'm hardly surprised.
One of my recurring dreams as a child was being in a room, and there were just voices. All the voices were shouting at me. It was kind of scary.
The other was that I was in a Mario level, being chased by the "blobs" from Pacman. I think my brain was trying to tell me I was palying games too much.

Well, when I was a kid, still asleep because of the narcosis I`d been given before an operation; I dreamed that I was sailing in a head downwards a river in a brown, steep valley with some dark voices saying something(the head I believe). I was standing in the mouth of the head with some tourists. I think actually the whole dream was in third-person. :dizzy2:

I keep having dreams about this one girl. Nothing rated R, just dreams that she's in. Of course this is the girl I really, really like, but still...how do I keep dreaming about her? I love to, but I dont know how to control it...
I need to get into lucid dreaming right away...

I've been having a nasty recurring dream for a couple of years now, it pops up every couple of weeks. It's strange, since it's not particularly scary when I think about it, but it always has me waking up in a cold sweat with a fading load noise in my ears. I wish it'd just go away. :inquisitive:

I once had a dream I was a blue ape fighting alongside my fellow brethren against purple apes. There was two waterfalls surrounding the land we fought on and I remember throwing lots of purple apes down a waterfall.
Another one I was in a war on the front line and was shot in the head. I actually felt pain (I think I hit my head against the wall while sleeping) and for the rest of the dream I sat on the ground wondering why I wasn't dead yet.:dizzy2:
When I was younger I had a recurring nightmare. I must have had this dream like 50 times. I woke up and heard a noise downstairs. I went to check it out and saw some kind of fuzzy monster in the living room (it looked like the TV when the cable goes out only in the shape of a human). At this point I would get really scared and try to run up the stairs. However the stairs would turn into a slide and I would be unable to climb it. I'd always turn around at the last second and be eaten. Then I'd wake up. Another version of this dream I once had involved me actually getting upstairs into my parents' bedroom only to find them not there. The monster would then eat me in there. After having this dream for about six months or so, I had another version of it. This time when I went downstairs I was armed with a bow and some arrows. I saw the monster and as it came toward me I shot it with two arrows. It fell and must have died. After that I never had the dream again. I figured I must have solved a problem I was having in real life.
Has anyone ever in their dreams suddenly realize they're in a dream? I've had this happen to me several times. I'd be in a dream when all of a sudden I'd realize I was dreaming while I'm still in the dream. At this point I'm able to control what happens in the dream. It is a really weird sensation and I've always wondered how this happens. For example, in one of my dreams I was in a movie theater but the screen was just a window with a brick wall behind it. I remember getting really bored and then suddenly realizing it was a dream. At this point I remember trying to get out of the dream but being unable to for quite some time. What's going on here?~:confused:
I've also been able to go back to sleep and "continue" the dream I was having.
Alexanderofmacedon
01-22-2006, 01:54
Some strange occasions I can 'continue' a dream as well. It's pretty neat to tell you the truth...
Here's a recurring dream of mine:
I am dead, laid out on a table in a morgue. There's only one mortician, and there are quite a lot of bodies, all on metal tables. I'm worried about how much time it's going to take the guy to go through us all as he performs autopsies.
Luckily, he starts on me, opening up my abdomen. I feel very exposed with my guts laid out around me. Then something happens, and he moves all the way to the other end of the room, and starts working on another corpse. I'm really upset by this. Why should I have to lie here with my viscera all over the place? Rude, rude, rude!
I think about getting up and leaving, but I stop because (a) my abdomen is one big gaping hole, and (b) it would really freak the guy out. So I lie there, fuming.
Finally I notice a tray with instruments and a book next to me. I can just make out the spine of the book: "Perform Your Own Autopsy and Save a Bundle." Eureka! Now everything's going to be okay.
The dream usually ends around there. I have *zero* idea of what it might mean.

A recent one that comes to mind featured me performing a grocery run for the house and I was buying almost a dozen large bottles of orange juice, and it was not even the brand we bought. "This can't be right" I kept thinking. Later, I went outside and an owl flew by and dropped a cat in the middle of a field, injuring it. I had somebody take it to a veterinarian.
Before that, I had a dream with strange imagery. There was a small group of soldiers charging through a field. These soldiers were made entirely of locusts. I think my mind told me that these locusts would join together and replicate the structure of whatever it is they were eating, while they were eating it so that they all could eat it safely. Apparently, they had replicated the soldiers perfectly, even down to the brain's mental functions. Very strange.

I've had a re-occuring dream for a few months now, where I'm praying on a hill, overlooking a sea of blood and gore, like a huge bloody battle has just taken place, and all I can hear is a cold wind carrying voices that whisper things I cannot understand. Then a priest walks up to me and keeps telling me "it's okay, you'll be alright" except for I'm the priest and I'm seeing me, and when I turn around I look the me (as the priest) into the eyes, and my eyes are black and I'm crying blood, but I keep telling me its okay... and then I get angry, like extremely angry and I shove a sword into the priest (who I am seeing me through). Its complicated. Then I generally wake up for a few seconds and go back to sleep again, and dream about something else. Man I need help!:laugh4:
I've had the same recurring dream for years and years.
I'm in a huge hotel. I've stayed longer then my ability to pay, which I need to do when I check out, so I cannot check out. I end up hiding in vent shafts and empty rooms and stairwells so as not to be found by the hotel detective who is looking for me.
My other often recurring dream is about running. Not running away from anything, just getting from Point A to Point B. I start to run and after a mile or so I'm amazed that I can run this far that I just keep running and running, marvelling that I'm able to do it. Lots of fun. (I guess this is like an erotic dream for an asthmatic.)

I used to have a recurring dream, but I don't have it anymore, now that driving isn't scary for me...
The dream started out with me naked in a car (my moms) and I'm driving at night trying to get home. Well, when having these dreams I was from 8-11 so driving was scary...not to mention naked...
Anyway, I'd always wake up and hate the dream, but I never got real scared or sweaty or anything.
An other dream I had a couple of times was before I was 8. I was a little boy and I'd run into a storage room type of thing and hide in a box and a red creature with horns (maybe the devil?) would follow trying to find me. This dream occured a couple times, but they were very short. I'd wake up fast before it went any further...
Hmm.. the wierdest one was probably when I was a fighter pilot in the red army at the Battle of Stalingrad. I managed to get a few Germans before I woke up.

What is the dream that you keep having?
That I wake up in whatever bed I'm sleeping in at the time, and it's dark in the room. All I do is wander around my room, aware that this is a dream and that it's familiar, and constantly thinking something along the lines of "I must think about this is a dream or it'll turn up" (paradox, I guess but who said nightmares make sense?). At some point I do somehow think of it, and there's loud noise growing outside the door; soon after something that looks like the stereotypical Death bursts through the door, rushes me, and I wake up (in my bed) in absolute terror with the loud noise fading from my ears. Apparently I've woken people up with it on occasion.
It's annoying, because it keeps coming back. Why can't it be a happy dream? :jumping:
I got harrased by Tony Blair and ended up killing my cat somehow, dreams are weird things. When I have a bad dream it usualy involves water, either big waves that are crumblimg my walls, or being chased by something while having to wade through it.

I never have a recurring dream, per se; but occasionally I will "continue" a dream I started having one night, sometimes as long as a week later. The closest I have ever had to a recurring dream involves a building I once read about somewhere; apparently, it is a gigantic, all-glass style building that may eventually be built in Chicago; if it does, it will be the tallest building in the world, by a long shot. I mean, this bugger is tall. Anyway, one night I was dreaming I was wandering around, lost in Chicago (which looked oddly devoid of skyscrapers...) and somehow I ended up at this building. The funding had run out or something, because it was just sitting there unfinished, but you could still get to it via an adjacent building, and a flight of stairs that went most of the way up. Well, I had the ingenious idea of going up to the highest accesible floor- the trouble was, they didn't tell you that the top floor that the stairs took you to was unfinished- in fact, there was no glass in the windows! So there I was, suddenly haing emerged some 4000 or so stories off the ground, in a VERY skinny building (I haven't seen "Sliver", but I think that is about how skinny this building was!) and I had nothing between me and the ground. Needless to say, I had an incredible attack of acriphobia, and I ran like hell back down the stairs, and crawled back across the open walkway to the other building.
About two months later, I am dreaming, and I suddenly end up back at the giant building- only this time, the acriphobia hits before I can even walk over to the other building, an I slink away, in fear of the incredible height.
Somehow, both times it ended with me being involved in an Unreal Tournament game... ~:confused:

Okay, here's my dream from last night:
I was a hitman working for the Korean Mafia, and I had to kill some guy so I went over to his place, and he wasn't there. I want back to the grand masters of the Korean Mafia and told them about him, and they said that if I was the first guy to get him I would get 20,000 Dollars in Cash and Prizes, so suddenly it became a gameshow involving several hitmen, and some Korean guy as the host. Then he took out a gun and shot it in the air (Signaling us that the race was on). I was running through downtown LA, and I saw a young teenager looking at me through a window of a restraunt I was walking by, I walked in, talked to the kid, who obviously wanted his parents dead because he didn't want to eat Peas, so I made him an offer of 500 Dollars per parent. I told the kid to leave, and when his parents returned, I was sitting in the kid's seat. They were all freaked out, and then I told them "your son wants you dead" and then I killed both of them by shooting em' in the head. I then approached the kid, and demanded he pay up, but he didn't have the money, so I took the kid back to the Korean Grandmasters and told them about the situation, they told me I would recieve my payment and I left the kid with them. As I was closing the door to their office all I heard was a loud bang, but I didn't care, because I needed to still kill the guy for 20,000 Dollars.
Eventually I find him in some warehouse, talking with two henchmen. I approach him, pull out my gun, and fire. I then realize that it's not the guy I was looking for at all, but a WackyFlailingInflateableTubeMan. So I'm scratching my head, like what in the hell is going on here? And thats when the guy I was looking for, appears behind me. I twist around as quick as I can, and I shoot him, but he won't die. And then he smiles, and pulls of the mask and it's the Korean Gameshow Host and he says "You are Winner!" and a bunch of confetti drops from the roof, and I was so happy. Then I woke up.
I had a weird dream some weeks ago. Me and some friends barricaded a house. Then the orks came. :no:
Me and a friend held the left door. I remember getting an ork over me and I screamed, laying on the floor, to my friend "kill it!". (He had open shot at the ork's back!!). Well my friend just stood paralyzed. Then I woke up.
This other night I fought in a very small battle. I was pretty good actually but woke up fast.

If I play TW all day, then I dream about TW. Gah.
My most recent dream that I remember what that I was running from a giant T-rex. At one point, I layed on the grassy floor and he ran past me. I could tell he was looking for me because he kept running back and forth past where I was laying. I was worried he would step on me.
Finally, I think the sucker is gone, when a frickin goat magically appears out of thin air about thirty feet to my left, bleating and all. Well, Old T-Rex came charging back and scooped him up in one bite.
That's all I remember. It wasn't very fun. :no:

I shall attempt to guess what some of your dreams mean. Although the dreamers would be the best interpreters for their own dreams, I think an idea from a second opinion could help.
By the way, I'm not a fortuneteller so you don't have to take me too seriously.
@Radier,
too obvious, you probably know what it means already.
@Wakizashi,
you've seen a lot of GTA games and Korean game shows. You hope to move to Korea and become a celebrity. You might become Korea's first gangsta rapper or you might star as a villain in a Korean movie.
Advice - Entertainment is fun but make sure you have a clear plan in your future. You might get involved with the wrong people.
@master of the puppets,
did you watch Aladdin? That probably gave you a premonition of Medieval Total War.
Advice - Perhaps one day, there will be a turning point in your life while you play Total War. Make sure that turning point doesn't go tragic. You might become too late to fix it in the future.
@Weebeast,
you might get unemployed, and your wife will have to take care of you.
Advice - if your wife is wealthy, then leave your life to fate. Work is stressful and gives you little free time.
@ArcticSonata,
what are your thoughts about a giant green turtle? Have you ever noticed that a turtle's shell looks like a UFO? Have you heard about alien abductions?
Advice - don't believe in alien abductions. Then you will stop having those dreams.
*I'll give more interpretations later on. To be continued...
Shaka has what we need -- quick and probably inaccurate interpretation of our dreams. Fight the good fight, Shaka! And put on a turban, or maybe a pyramid medallion ...

Not in a while, but I did recently watch the Peter Jackson remake of King Kong which, of course, has T-Rexs.
All my dreams are a struggle. All of them. Nothing peaceful. Nothing hopeful. Just some type of fricking struggle where I am either trying to survive or accomplish something or just simply flailing myself against an unknown obstacle. Thankfully I infrequently remember my dreams.

I've had a recurring dream in which I've got my guitar and it's time for me to go on stage and play something for a crowd of people. Only, I'm not in the slightest bit ready - the stage isn't set up and we haven't run sound checks yet. To make matters worse, I realize that I haven't even made plans or practiced for the show, and therefore have no idea what songs I'm going to play or how to play them. In fact, I can scarcely remember how to play the guitar at all. As an amateur guitarist, I find this dream very unnerving.
Another recurring dream involves me driving a car, but always on the edge of losing control. The car is going much too fast, and I have tunnel vision; plus, the little I can see ahead is dark or blurry. The roads are narrow and unfamiliar, the car keeps soaring over jumps in the road; sometimes, I'm not even on any road. Sometimes there are passengers in the car and I'm terribly afraid for them.
P.S. No I don't drive drunk; it's extremely rare for me to drink at all and I've never been drunk.
