What is the unit list for incoming units?
I know this might seem to be odd request, but as some other people, I just can't have enough of this mod. So if there is anyone who is kind enough and wants to give us fans something to drool at, you could onsider giving us what units are you planning on add to mod.
Thanks for great mod, I hope to see OB for 1.5 patch soon :sweatdrop:

I wouldn't hold my breath on 1.5, as LT1956 found a major bug in 1.5 - a bug rivalling the primary/secondary bug on yesteryear.

Should we wait patch for 1.2 version or go to doctor for pills and start to pray that 1.5 version will come soon :dizzy2:

Let's not frustrate the EB devs and let them live their real, daily lives, and work on EB when the time is available. I appreciate your guys' work to live up to RTR and eventually surpass it. Take your time and know that the community has your support, emotional *tear tear* or....sexual? JK.

Bah... To work you lazy modders :ballchain:
Just kiddding... Of course we understand this is mod they do in their own free time. I could bet they have some sort of idea are modders going to release hotfix for 1.2 or just looking forward to 1.5. If they want to tell this to community what could be better? Even if they are not going to release hotfix.
No one is asking them to give more freetime for developing this mod. They do it because they like to do so. They have even mentioned many times before that they would do mod even without community.
We should appreciate all the work they have put in this mod and made it public for other people also. Does that make curiosity about future of mod bad? Not as I can think.
Just giving my two cents about this... Don't take it too serioysly when people joke about mod and how they want more, more, more and did I say more :sweatdrop:
There are just so many of us who are nuts about this mod:bow:

The new bug:
Just wanted to let you know that Darth Vadar stumbled across a Pretty bad Bug for 1.5 and BI. While the AI is in Defense the Archers will not fire. You can test this in custom battles in 1.5 by setting the AI army to defense by clicking the little icon to green in custom menu.
I tested this out several timesand everytime they didnt attack, What makes this even WORSE is for sieges. Where the AI is set to defense the Archers on the walls will not fire they will just sit there. I have tried the Thrown attribute, but that doesnt do anything Either. Test it out yourself with a custom battle siege and see if the archers do anything. you attacking the castle.
Apparently a way out of it has been found, but still being tested.
As for new units, we have a few ready and which will appear in next patch. One unit is the Chalkaspidai.

I'm pretty sure I found a fix for the 1.5 archer bug.

Fortunately then...
that's got to be one of the most grotesque bugs to make it into an official CA version. How could this conceivably get past any playtesting? :inquisitive:
I take it the bug affects slingers and javelin throwers also?

It seems to effect foot archers a lot, slingers sometimes, and I don't think javelins at all.

CA don't playtest their games... I thought people would have realised that with such bugs that were easy to spot as the load/save, primary and secondary weapon mix up... BI Roman generals having bad weapon skins and the like...

Other than being gay, it makes poor AI even worse when defending

Not even we know this. Things get included when they get included.
As it was, the beta was intended to have much more content than it did. There was a heap of material that was finished and ready to be included but didn’t make it for one reason or another.
The next build will probably miss stuff as well but you should have quite a few pleasant surprises nontheless.

That sounds really cool... Just keep information coming to boards.

Wil by the time of the next release ( hope it's soon :2thumbsup: ) we have a list of units, including the regions where they can be recruited, and under which govt's and buildings are they available ? Sometimes this is quite confusing, especially with the regional ones.

No, that's something you have to memorize. Can't make it too easy for you...:laugh4:
It's in the works, but if it will be till the next patch we are not entirely sure, but a list of units and where they can be trained will be created, but when it will be out, is another matter entirely.
