While we have the Books on Medieval Europe and Rome (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?t=27424) thread, it is IMO too specific. I think the Monastery could benefit from a more general history books thread, one that could include material focused on any and all eras, cultures and areas of the world.
I for one would be interested in books about subjects such as Celtic peoples of Britain & Ireland, and the history of India (all eras). If such a thread could be created here, it should of corse include the books already listed in the Medieval/Rome thread.
