I'm planning on having a party and I made a list for a CD with...
Tell me if you guys think it's good...
Gorrilaz - Feel Good Inc.
Rage Against the Machine - Testify
Rage Against the Machine - People of the Sun
Chevelle - Send the Pain Below
Red Hot Chili Peppers - Otherside
The White Stripes - Seven Nation Army
Incubus - Here in My Room
Alice In Chains - Would?
Nirvana - In Bloom
Mars Volta - The Widow
That's not in any particular order. Feel free to make it into the best order in your opinion...

If you need more Red Hot Chili Peppers tune for your party, get these:
Higher Ground
Around The World
Parallel Universe
Easily
Cabron
On Mercury
Stone Cold Bush
Backwoods
Full flavor party-chili taste guaranteed. :2thumbsup:
What kind of party would this be?

As the resident RATM expert I wouldn't suggest using People of the Sun and Testify. Guerilla Radio and Know Your Enemy would be much better for they have a better beat to them. Also rage is an accquired taste and these songs are easier to swallow for most.

Not a "let's get high and drunk and kill everyone" party...
IrishMike (you have an other account right?) I changed it...thanks:2thumbsup:

No "Chicken Dance", "Hookie Pookie" or "Electric Slide"? What kind of lame party is this? I'm afraid you are going to get this :girlslap: instead of this :dancing:
On second thought, you're better off without my suggestions. :square:
Good luck with your party.

HAHAHA. I hope you're saying any suggestions I might have aren't welcome.

Well I forgot to mention about anything by The Strokes and Franz Ferdinand. They glow enough energy for a party.
:2thumbsup:
Marry Me and The Southern Thing by the Drive-By Truckers, as well as Wanted and Good Year by the Refreshments. Get some variety in there.

Have them put on their evening jackets and stick on some Strauss...

Get the Creedence Clearwater Revival Concert. It's just called "The Concert"; not the "Live in Europe" CD. The Concert has some real good party music; if you turn it up loud enough, you can turn your home into a good old-fashioned blues bar.
If this is a Neon God style party, on the other hand, that might not be the best choice. But for just a regular party, it's perfect- but make sure you have plenty of liquor. :2thumbsup:
Put on Unholy Confessions by Avenged Sevenfold, pretty good party tune.
Byzantine Prince

The Fragile by NIN is really good for dancing.
If you bring drugs then make it something less hard and more fun to listen to.
Definetly put on some Radiohead when everyone is drunk out of their minds and ready to lie down.

How'd you get "Senior Member" and you only have 59 posts? Dang, that gives a new meaning to the phrase 'good-poster'...
...which I made up just now anyway, but yeah...

Had a few more, before. Different forum now. Guess I lost 'um in the transition.
Wasn't "senior" before either. Guess I gained that in the transition, too.
Win some, lose some, yanno? Kinda zen, don't you think?
Anyway. You decide on your favorite party music?
And are we all invited? :laugh4:

Have them put on their evening jackets and stick on some Strauss...
Which one? :inquisitive: I was able to attend the Strauss festival in Tennessee (I know it's a bit of an oxymoron) and enjoyed myself although it was more of an over 40 crowd.

Anyone. So long as it is a waltz. I prefer the Skater's Waltz, the Cuckoo Waltz (I think it has another name...), the Emperor's Waltz, and the Thunder and Lightning Waltz...

Good info. If you're throwing that type of "party" a few of those are certainly in order.

Ok I need to be more clear about what has to be in that playlist ! :charge:
Franz Ferdinand - Take Me Out all the way. If you don't go with this in your party, I curse all of you for a peaceful party full of fairytales and jokes told where you will not be able to smash even a can of beer, let alone each other. :inquisitive:
