Archers in EB

I played the Casse for about 10 years and the Ptolemics for about 5 (before fatal CTDs) but never had any archers appear for recruiting. Of course I did find them when playing the Romans after capturing some Gaelic towns. I would very much appreciate some explanation?

They're there. Might be a recuritment problem but they shouldn't be too hard to get.

They're pretty useless anyway, unless you face elephants. They're pretty good at routing/ killing them.

Why is it that they kill elephants that easy and they hardly kill any infantry?
I've had them waste their entire ammunition on some basic hoplites and they only killed like 10 or so.

Sotaroas should be pretty easy to get, they're practically everywhere in Gaul... maybe they just aren't available in Britannia?

Nope i got them at starting recruitment with Casse.
