Emperor: Battle for Dune was the most underrated game EVER! That game was awesome.

I'm not quite getting at what you are saying, Abo. Is it: "Emperor is such a massive failure that no one even plays it anymore" or is it: "Emperor is such a good game that its failure makes it one of the most massive failures in gaming history"? If you mean the latter, I suppose I agree.

I would say latter.

Emperor is a failure in that EA rushed it out the door with tons of gameplay-hindering bugs and no in-game way to download end-user made maps and mods. And then abandoned the game and left it to rot 6 months later when it was still in that same state.

Having said that, before it died Emperor was quite possibly the very best multiplayer RTS game ever made.

Shame on EA for murdering a masterpiece.

Tribes: Vengeance. It killed the Tirbes series. Vivendi Universal (VUG) rushed it out of the door to quick, hoping they would make money from this famous franchise. Shame, they killed it at the same time. Many vets just didn't like it, including me, because of the fact it played like your bog-standard FPS, but with jetpacks.

At least Tribes 2 is still going. Or at least it was when i last checked 2 weeks ago.

EDIT: Dear god, i just noticed, an intelligent coherent thread from Abokasee! *faints*
