Damn man!
You can buy a lot of beer and loose women with that money. ;)

Err its was negative $2 billion, not many women interested in that I think.
Depends, I take it you know the old adage: "Borrow a dollar and you belong to the bank, borrow a million and the bank belongs to you".
But in RTW, you´re in for problems, with a capital P. No new units, no retraining, no building.

OOPS... so it is. :laugh4:
Maybe you need to take a loan to cover that shortfall, repayable in easy monthly installments.
Looks like you've been spending too much on beer and loose women. :inquisitive:
Ouch, that hurts. But even when you get a positive cashflow I don't like your strategy. You should first plunder around before to settle down. You saw nothing of the world before you took a new home. At least kick all of ERE out of Europe until you settle at that location. Soon your whole Horde-Army is gone and you will have no cash but potent enemies around.

President Bush, I'm honored to know you are a Total War player.

Would that be not some cheat code created sum of money, which resulted from a large amount of money being added to. There being too much money, this negative figure resulted.

Let me explains this as easily as I can: You were owned.

Hmmm Thompson, I detect Democrat undetones here... lol
I guess you're just pissed off because Moore didn't get Kerry in to the Whitehouse in spite of his spiteful films?
Anyways... let's get back to RTW, damnit I'm not even American, I just think M Moore is a propogandist with a license to make dodgy films.
Ouch... let's keep politics out of this forum I think. :furious3:

No, just a temporary glitch, I couldn't reproduce it, from what I remember I occupied then went to swarm and then sacked all in one turn( to investigate what would happen). The -$2billion occurred then .
I played on for a bit and retook the place to see if anything else would happen , but it didn't so I then took a screenshot.
Just a one off.

YOU SHOULD BE BANNED FROM THE FORUMS FOR SAYING THINGS LIKE THIS...it was so funny I almost had a heart attack!

In all seriousness, who cares? Who cares what a movie says? Who?
Everyone has a license to make people upset, don't let it get to you...
Gentlemen, please keep politics out of the Colosseum.
If you want to discuss the merrits of Micheal Moore, this (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/forumdisplay.php?f=19) is the place to go.
How much cash did you have before you took over the big C? That value is very close to hex 0x7FFFFFFF (2147483647), which would be the rollover point for a twos-complement 32-bit signed integer. My advice to you would be to lose as much money as possible, and try to get it to roll back to a positive value. Start gifting small factions with cash...

Happened to me too. Odd...
For a second, I thought my campaign was screwed; no way I can get rid of a debt of of 2 billions.
CA knows how to give me heart attack...or surprise me at least.
I would suggest that you start to drink heavily with that.
wow. any option of bull dozing everything and let it all go to rot, regrouping and trying again?
CA is probably representing your treasury as a 32-bit signed integer. They probably did not put a check for rollover, since who in their right mind would every be able to accumulate 2 billion denarii. :inquisitive:
I'm serious, if this happens just find a way to spend (or lose) as much money as possible. If they don't check for rollover one way, they probably didn't check for rollover the other.
