Junior members cannot post on all the forums.

The Entrance Hall is one of the forums where you can post anything.
The other forums they have to be related to that forum.

This method is so you can introduce yourself, get used to our strict but nice rules for a minimal flame environment. It also lets you get used to the sarcastic Australians.

It also allows us to minimse trolls from trashing the place.

You will find a lot of members very helpful with the juniors in getting information.

Sarcastic Australians?

Surely not!

The Troll thing is fair enough, though.....

Actually I find the Austailians one of the most fun parts of the forum.

That and the utterly pointless threads such as...

"What are you listening to right NOW! Yes RIGHT NOW!"

I have just never understood them. Don't sweat it, soon those astonishingly time wasting thread can and will be yours.

I can get you into all the forums if you could please drop off a 6-pack behind the dumpster next to Best Buy, and I can make you a moderator if you bring some hot wing.

You must know it's wrong to accept bribes, but if you can convince me, by say, giving me half the wings, I promoiise I won't tell anyone.

Promise.

How about I call the police claiming assault, give you half the wing, then lay donw on the ground with my pants around my ankles crying, just in time for the cops to roll up and see you eating my wing. I will not be blackamiled, governor.

hello hello
two questions
Troll?
and wing?

:help:

Major Robert Dump

Modern vocabulary culture dictates that you don't need a plural status to in fact represent a plural noun, or even verbs. Hot wing could mean 6 wings, 12 wings or even 20 wings. Of course I want him to bring me 20.

I do not make the rules, I only follow them

What’s a Wing and what’s a troll

Just A Girl

A troll is some 1 who posts something Purley to antagonise a agressive responce.

A wing is a Single noun.
I guess they mean Wings. As in chicken wings. (pointless things)

Around my way they'd more likely to be called chicken wangs. "lemme git sum o' them chick'n wangs and collad greens."

Every 1 has to wait to be aproved for membership.
i believe this is based on posts made when a junior member.
mod's keep an eye on Junior members and after suficent time has passed they will make you a member.

this does not mean mods kan keep an eye on every new member.
And as such patience is the best policy.

im sure that in no time at all you will be a member.
and be able to post in the relivant topics or forums.

In the mean time you can crate your own topics here. (within reason)
and a moderator may moove it to a diferent section.

I believe you are able to reply to any thread you have started.
so It would not be an issue if they mooved your threads.

So please have patients.
Its worth it in the end.

I'm kinda indifferent about this "junior members only can post here, here, here and here so we can keep down flamming and trolling,etc.."
well I think it good, that you guys do that, cuz if not, half the people joining this fourm would proably be trolling or flaming or something

but, for the people who don't have the intentions of flaming or trolling at all, like me, I think it is odd that I and other ppl who actually want to post in these threads that we want to,but can't. (i.g. Mutiplayer)

oh sure, "we don't want replies to be the following"

"yea"
"lol"

"just one word replies"
but it like, you guys check the quantily of our posts, but how can we, or the members of the fourms that won't actually spam or flame or troll actualyl enjoy it, if we have to make 50-100 posts of "good posts" before we get a member spot and actually post in all or at elast 99.9% of the fourm

like Me, I got 56 posts (57 after this)
and I'm still Junior member. this guy on totalwar.com said he was a Member after 12 posts or so. am I making "bad" and "spam posts" and not "good" posts like I should??

Well perhaps they havn't got round to it yet. It's my guess that they might promote new members once a week or something like that.

But if it's not then perhaps just try harder to I dunno really make quality posts? I can't see really what your doing wrong myself, except I could live without 'cuz' and the occassional txt words you use. But other than that, just remember, post count doesn't matter [much] in relation to becoming a full member, it's not what you do it's the way that you do it :2thumbsup:

Eventually you'll be promoted :juggle2:

What forums can Junior Members post in?
Have a look in the Guild FAQ (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?t=45416), under membership information. There is a table there that will answer your question. In short, you can post in the Entrance Hall, the guide fora and the M2:TW and S:TW fora, the Code of Honour forum and a few modding forums.

I don't think the quality of your posts is the issue here. Just be patient. The Org staff tries to promote based on partication and interaction with others. This means that no member will be promoted on their first few days (okay, so it happened once, but that was the exception). Instead, new members are monitored for some time before being promoted. Post count does play a role, because only through their posts new members can be monitored, but posting a lot does not speed up the promotion proces.
