View Full Version : Kindly allow me to rant.
The EU what a joke! Where is the support for our Danish friends? Why does the Danish PM has to go to Al Jazeera instead of an official EU delegation? Useless gits! Trying to disagree on details from 9 to 5 to go smoking some cigars in the salon afterwards, good old boys bah! See, that is what I voted against, you can't make something useless usefull just by making it official. So now to their horror they find out that the phoneline ends with them, 'but it was supposed to be fun!!!'. So what did they talk about when the eu headquarters in Gaza was surrounded by boomski's, about the admission of Bulgeria! And how they save the constitution they tried to forcefeed us GOD. I'll take a hundred Dubya's over your complete utter screaming uselessness GAH you make me sick.
sorry mods.

...I see where your viewpoint is coming from. However, at this point the EU is simply a joint economic agreement, if a situation over a cartoonist offends the muslim world, and its targeting Denmark, economically speaking it would best for a country to distance itself as much as possible from the situation. It's still fairly self evident that European Countries do not feel much brotherly love towards each other, which is a shame. But Countries like Germany and France are mostly concerned about how many Euro's they can make a profit with, via tourism and trade, and it looks like the muslim world is a much larger cashcow to them than Denmark. Pacifistic Capitalism in European Politics, you don't say?
And you give America a hard time about being greedy.:laugh4:
Then they shouldn't pretend to be anything else. God all the propaganda for their precious constitutions, peace, solidarity, cooperation, yeah right. Just an additional useless government that slows down our allready useless national government, which in turn slows down the allready useless provincal governemnt, which in turn slows down my useless local government that has been slowing me down for months when I wanted to build an extra room out of my balcony.

I was always under the impression a lack of cooperation between national policies and newspaper content is how things are supposed to be.
