I hope it is ok for me to make this poll here - it's not to knock EB, but just out of curiosity.

I love this mod, but have had to put it to one side because I get so many CTDs. They usually happen once or more per session (3 hours or so). They often happen after a big battle. And they can be worked around - e.g. putting scripting off, autoresolve, going back to an older save. Sometimes they seem non-reproducible: CTD once, reload and do exactly the same thing but no CTD. Sometimes I have to re-load and re-fight three or more times.[1]

However, reading the forums here I get the impression that my experience is not uniform among players of the beta and probably not even typical, so I'd like to know the results of this poll.

[1]For what it's worth, my computer is a fairly modern one (year old or so) and meets the Morrowind Oblivion minimum specs.

Surprisly not many, just one as pontus and another as Macedon in 8 or so hours of game play.

Occaisionally. Since fixing the Olympics and Apocalypse bugs, though, they seem to have mostly disappeared.

Never or negligible, i play since the open beta is out(about 1 hour/day) and i only c2d once.

Never or negligible, in my campaign I'm now in 195 BC and my last CTD occured in 238 BC .

Interesting to see the variety of experience with respect to CTDs. I wonder what might explain it?

Different factions? (I've only played Rome).

Different computer hardware?

Different game settings?

I'd be interested to know if the EB team have drawn any conclusions - or even just hypotheses - about the variation?

It may have to do with the amount of fixes the user has applied to his game. I believe I have included all the fixed issues so far and I have had almost no crashes since then. I don't seem to encounter the merging armies crash or the multiple battles/armies/turn crash much, if at all. Yet other people have troubles with those a lot it seems.

Rarely. And those I had I could not reproduce, and I could carry on my campaign normally.

I had some with the Olympics ... but after the fix I only had one. Granted, I did not play for long after that.

just 1 ever. And i didn't fix anything. On the other hand i haven't gotten very far in the game yet. Ijust don't have the time

They are in various threads in the Bug reports and Technical Help ... don't have their precise locations, but they float around.

I read about the Olympics bug, but the thing is, my family members always lose :inquisitive:
Is that part of the bug?

The bug is if you win the Olympics, you get a CTD. Between my initial testing and the open beta, I had to add some things and didn't test them. :shame:
