Came across some Komatai Agrianai in a game recently and darn it if they didn´t fire right across the whole map!!! :jawdrop:

Now, is there any stats for the missile troops of EB that some of the devs might post to get some insight in this Q: how far does the different types of archers fire?

They have ranges between 128.7 and (theoretically) 224.

In comparison, in vanilla 1.5 Archer Auxilia had a range of 170, Scythian horse archers 120.

Keep in mind if you are on a mountaintop on one corner of the map you can indeed fire nearly all the way across it if the unit is a good (archer) one. Terrain plays a huge role in it.

I know m8! I´ll never forget that walkthrough training school in STW where two archers defends a mountain. However I didn´t literally mean "fire across the whole map" in my first post. I was just exaggerating.
Now back to the issue: Which units are the most ranged ones? I´ve found some slingers that really sits back at the coffeshop tossing sugarcubes at the battle three mile outside town.

...and the ones with 224 capacity are...???

They don't exist in game, but the unit that could have it would be a unit with a sling with lead ammo and the highest skill level. I think the highest in game in about 200 (which would be lead ammo slingers with normal skill). Some eastern archers have nearly that, from about 180 to to the mid 190's.

But there seems to be archers with this capacaty too right? What´s the best ranged archer unit beside the eastern ones?

Not sure, in the future probably the Cretans. It's all in the EDU though (although ranges are dropping a bit in the future), just check.
