Well, I was on TWC and i was looking at their Eagle Standard thing, so why dont we have something similar, a small forum, maybe a sub-forum of the Watchtower, dedicated to the news of the org?

We already have ER's mod roundup, we could also post news for the hottest discussions in the backroom, we could even stick the birthday thread in there. What do you guys think?

I like it actually, also a thread telling who just got senior membership etc, it's a good suggestion, especially in regards to newest mods and hottest discussions.

It is a nice idea, but I think you are being a bit overambituous if you want an entire forum dedicated to this. Let's start with an .Org newsletter. If that proves a succes, it can be expanded upon. I doubt anyway that TosaInu is going to create a forum if he isn't sure that people will still be interested one month hence.

The main issue will be finding someone willing to keep up-to-date and able to write regular reviews on .Org affairs. There is usually no shortage of volunteers for this kind of thing, but most tend to lose interest within a few weeks.

i second the org newsletter thing...just to catch peoples attention...i would like to write a piece :)

Yeah ,that would be better than having a dedicated forum for it...so where would we stick the newsletter? in the Watchtower?

yeah watchtower sounds good, though we could also consider posting it in the entrance hall meaning the newer people would know what's new on the forums..

All in all it's a good suggestian Ian, and I for one hope something like this is set up heck I'd even help.
