I've cooked up some music and am starting to expose it. I thought I'd post a link here and maybe we both can benefit from it :laugh4:

Interesting. Hypnotic, a touch jazzy. While listening I had the subconscious urge to disobey authority and have lascivious relations with a woman in a back alley.

You're doing something right. ~:smoking:

Why didn't you try real sounds instead of a MIDI -a kind that I could never get used to ? I mean, your composition sounds like something but gets stuck with MIDI's inability.

thanks,

there's a few reasons: I can't play keyboard well (or any other instrument for that matter), and I don't have a band. Yet the freeware-produced MIDI's might be useful still in exposing the music or attracting musicians. So this is basically the first step. And I was expecting that listeners would realize the limitations of the current format but was hoping that the pieces make an impact none-the-less.

You compose music in this freeware program by placing notes on the measure, not by inputing from a musical keyboard... so that's not me playing.

btw, if you're using WinAmp the MIDI itself might not sound right.

You should look into some real instrument. I'd not give a crap if MIDI did not give me a hint about your potential. Good luck ~;)

P.S. I listened it on Media Player Classic.

This means I can count on you to buy the album when it comes out, right? :laugh4:

I'll probably have made a fortune when you have an album released :smoking: ~D

Keep up the high spirit, good luck.
