Problems when I want to play with Viking Invasion

Hi, perhaps someone could help me::help:

I've just installed V.I. but The game crash. Sometimes it crashed just when I make double clic to begin, and other times I entered the game, but when I try to play a campaign, it crashes. I read in an other forum that there is a problem with Service Pack 2 of windows XP, and the solution is remove SP2. Is it true? Is there any other solution?

Sounds strange ?

I playing VI with SP2 without prob for a while.
Be sure to first install MTW, and VI after and finnaly patch for VI.

I play VI (and VI-based mods) on a WinXP SP2 machine, with minimal problems. Most difficulties seem to stem from video car driver version incompatibilities - why don't you post a little more information about your machine, with driver versions?

i sumtimes get crashes to desktop (on both medieval and viking invasion) when i press Esc to bring up the menu to save the game (gotta love autosave) which is just really really annoying :( <--- my solution dont save :furious3:
