Can someone help me get multiple mods on mtw? What I mean is, I heard that you can change the directory of your current mtw stuff or something. And then you can install it at the old place. I don't really know, so can someone help me?

Well I know there's supposed to be a Mod-Switcher around here.

Which allows you to have multiple mods installed at once.

I think thas is what you mean, though my knowledge of it end here, I do not know where you might get it,however I'm confident some other member does know.

As far as I know, all you have to do is copy the MTW folder and install the mod over the copy or the original. Then you just run the .exe from whichever you want.

As far as I know it possible to install M:TW twice by not using the autoplay menu that appears when you insert the CD, but instead go to the "My computer", open the CD (right click on the CD icon and select open, if you just double click the CD-drive will autoplay) and start install.exe. Then you can make a new install in another map. Repeat this procedure with VI and patch 2.1, and you're done. This is how I did it.

However, it should also be possible, if you still have a clean (patched, but no mods) install of M:TW + VI, to just copy the contents of the M:TW folder to a second one and install the mod there.

Ok thanks, but I have another question, I have MedMod so I can uninstall it, could I still do the copy thing?

If you currently only have Medmod, and you have the hard drive space, I'd recommend you rename your Medmod something different than the default MTW name and keep it. Do a fresh install of MTW+VI (launched not by autoplay but by running the setup.exe file from the CD), patch it to v2.01 (if needed), then never mod that installation. Keep it as you "master" MTW, whenever you want to add a mod, just copy the master to another folder, then apply the mod there.

My modded MTW installations vary from 1.89 gigs to 3.30 gigs, depending on how many saved games, battle replays, etc., that are there. As long as you have room, you can just keep going. I've got almost 13 gigs worth of MTW on my hard drive, and I'm just getting started! :laugh4:
