When I earn so much money I get the feeling that I didn't use my florins (MTW) well enough and that I could've improved so much more in my empire. I don't find it challenging enough when I have enough in my treasury to bribe all the armies of my enemy. It's fun when you walk the fine line between been bankrupt and been overrun by your enemies.

That's why I play MTW xl. The tons of florins earned with trade is lessened and land becomes so much more important.

In my first and only RTW Imperial campaign Julii was netting around 40k per turn. Stepping up on army production soon brought that under control.

Never earned much.. I used to always build units in my major campaigns (kept on feeling that a turn without training units is a turn wasted)

well portugal was my most productive region it earned around 40k in my campaign...thats staggering.

and 200k is the bruto not the netto lets say that we take off 20-30k for my armies and i only owned rich trading cities

What difficulty were you playing on? In Medieval my highest was only something around 50,000 per turn. In Rome I have gotten up to 20,000.

The best I've managed for profit in RTW (excluding exterminations, just normal trade and tax income) is about 32,000 as the Brutii; with exterminations I've made as much profit as 60,000 per turn.

I've never got that high with either as I don;t usually play to the bitter end when I know I'm going to win.

Are you sure you mean billion though? That is a very big number (10 digits or nine zeros depending on how you look at it).

on VH/VH i got a billion with protectorates

and with MTW on easy i got that much with rich trade provinces

portugal made 40k a turn

Billion.. I don't think it's even possible to be honest in RTW.

I've made 18 k as the most, playing as the Scipii, with 12 provinces.. (They have really rick trading cities).

in RTW...around 3,4 million denari...money were flowing...when I conquered all the map.....i reached 18 AD
