Hi
I've read that is possible to be allied with rebel cities after activating the script. But also after activating script nothing happens, the game continues to show rebel cities as at war with my faction and also my diplomats can't do nothing when the diplomacy scroll is open.
May I have more info about this pelase
bye
The Casse, due to their unique position, are the only one who start off not at war with the rebels. This is to represent the political situation on the British Isles where the Casse had recently negotiated peace with the neighbouring tribes.
You cannot otherwise, at any other times, be at peace with the rebels due to the nature of the rebel system within the game. If you are at peace with one rebel city, you are at peace with all rebel cities, which just doesn't make sense.

so how long do the rebels stay at peace with the casse?
Depends on the difficulty. On VH campaign the rebels are much more aggressive. Personally I've found they've attacked within two years, but other have gone for ten years of peace with the Eleutheroi.

hmm so its not realy a peace worth keeping then, pity, it would be interesting to be at peace with brigands!

There are other "alliances" that are scripted between rebel cities and your faction. The only one I know of off the top of my head is KH and Sinope. Pontos always attacks that town too, and you go to war. I remember Pontos has a couple but I don't remember their names. These aren't true alliances, but it works as best it can.

The faction leaders of Ptolemaioi, Koinon Hellenon, and a few other factions list the allied cities in their Victory Conditions trait. Just pull up your faction leader's list of traits and check out the "Ptolemaioi Victory Conditions" or "Koinon Hellenon Victory Conditions" traits.

I thought that Rome was supposed to be allied with Messana. But as Carthage I was not able to start war with Rome by attacking this city. It was 269 and I wanted to start the first punic war, without invading mainland Italy. Just curious what happend to this alliance. Quess I can always start the war with my navy.
Since the patch, I just tried the Casse for the first time (probably goes without saying that I love how they're so much more interesting than under vanilla). But I was wondering if (after reading about special cases like Sinope with the Greeks) that it might be possible to only be at war with one tribe at once - make others "special cases" or something? The problem the Casse may be facing is that to attack one tribe effectively puts them at war with every other tribe in the area as well. (Maybe that's historical, but from what little I know, I hear the tribes often fought each other without provoking the whole island). But if it's not possible, then it just requires another adapted strategy. Oh... are the Casse the "Catuvelauni"? There's a book "Eagle and the Raven" by Pauline Gedge, I really can't tell for sure how historical it is, but it sounds like the Casse might be that Catuvellauni from the book.

There has been much discussion about whether we should do this, but at this time, it's not in the game. You can check your faction leader's "Victory Conditions" trait and it will tell what Eleutheroi cities you are allied to.

The way our alliances with rebel cities work is that if somebody else attacks the city, it provokes war. You're encouraged to defend these people from the other faction's aggression. The limitations of the game are such that if you're at war with one rebel city, you're at war with all of them. So what you're suggesting is impossible.
