I failed all of the animal ones but aced the crime scenario; all this training's paying off. 11. I just need to keep my temper around dangerous animals (it would very much depend on the size of the dog(s)). The shark thing bugs me though: I know great whites close their eyes before a strike so would gouging a shark's eyes do anything? I suppose it's a better option than attacking the gills because that could shred your arms and make a nice orgy of blood to drive the shark crazy.

16/17, the "the plane has crashed in the sea" on got me, i was always told to stay as close to the wrekage as possible as it will attract rescuers, but oh well

Got 12/17. Think I had one mistake under each category, so I`ll do it relatively fine under any circumstances. :2thumbsup:

12/17, I got most of the animal ones wrong.

However vicious a dog is, I refuse to believe that just lying in a fetal position and letting it savage you is going to be more effective than putting up a bit of a fight. The former course of action wouldn't do much for your street cred, either.

11/17...those animals really massacred me...good at skiping robbers and tornadoes, though...I'll probably never see a tornado in my life, but good to know I'll evade it:)

Really. Curling up is just letting the dog assert dominence. A knee to the head or chest as it jumps would be better IMHANPO (in my humble and not professional opinion)

I was wondering about that dog too. I once saw a program where they gave this 'curl up' tip when dealing with bears. They are suppossed to lose interest after a while if you just lie still. Fair enough, there's no way you can beat a monster like a Grizzly bear with your bare hands.

But a dog? They can only grab one limb at a time. That still leaves three to take a swipe with at his head.

I agree. But maybe the experts now better.I also belive that little footwork would deal with most the dogs. Also Its weapon is only the jaw.If you manage to stop it from biting you should kill it pretty easily and if it bites you and holds its bite.I think that its neck or back shouldnt be too hard to brake. But on the other hand a dog has never attacked me.:juggle2:

Better than I thought I would do -- 16/17. And I would argue with the one I got wrong. If you have the option, securing a raft would be way more important than getting away from the fuselage. Raft = life. Better to take a short-term risk than to cast yourself onto the waves with nothing but your charming personality.

10 out of 17, I can handle criminals and dogs just fine, but sharks and tornados are something else entirely.

I'm not sure about how you really should react to the dog, I think it depends on the dog itself, some will just tear you apart if you do nothing, some will happily walk away. If you're gonna fight though, netter make sure you can knock it out, most dogs aren't easily scared of humans...

I wonder if grabbing the neck would help. I heard it's a good way to assert you dominance over wolves (though, not advisable to try).

Missed the snake bite and the bloody sharks, and the bit about crawling underneath seats, makes sense though.

As to the dog stuff, they're spot on. If you go into the fetal position with a dog, the most you'll get is a few nicks from attempted bites. Unless you're some martial artist, it doesn't pay to fight them. Sure, in all likely hood, you'll end up as the vitor w/ reach and stuff, but you'll also come out w/ some nasty bites that will need stitches, and will end up as scars.:balloon2:

The short term risk is getting sucked into the aircraft. If you've ever been on a commercial flight or can remember the previous questions you know you'd have a life vest. A raft is a long term supplement to your survivability. That question reminded me of all those WW II books I read about the war in the Pacific.

Badly maimed as well. And even then, I wonder whether I would really act as sensible in a danger situation, or just lose my head like 70% of the world does.

True. I used to have play-fights with my parents' dog and even though it never bit me, it could move its jaws faster than I my hands. And this is just a pet dog. A street dog would have no trouble maiming both my hands before I closed them round its throat.

Dogs are fast. At least dogs and sharks are predictable.

Handling a terrorist is like handling your teacher or your boss. People who do nothing have a bigger chance to escape the judging eyes of the superior but end up with a bad grade or could get fired because the boss doesn't feel the need for him. People who talk annoyingly on and on don't realize how much they're begging to be shot. People who humanize themselves do well, even if they don't perform their work well. In other words, I find teachers and bosses to be mentally unstable.

11 out of 17, a few of these i could have done differently though, using the martial arts skills i know. But i knew what the program wanted to hear thoughout some of it.
