HR 4437 – The Border Protection, Antiterrorism, and Illegal Immigration Control Act of 2005.

The house passed this by a large margin. Unfortunately, the weak-kneed Senate will probably find it too harsh.

This bill is exactly the kind of thing we need! I am truly proud of the house for approving this so widely.

Finally! A law that would punish employers of illegal immigrants! NO GREATER IMMEDIATE GOAL IMHO. These unethical businesses are two-timing SOBs and I hope they go right to jail. God I hope this bill makes it through the Senate gauntlet....

Already being done here, an employer (in theory)gets a 20.000 fine for every illegal immigrant. It isn't enforced very well though, we rule in toleration.
