I wonder about my future because I might be moving but I do not know exactly where. I know that it's somewhere near Vancouver. It depends on whether I'll be getting a job there.
Another thing I'm certain of is that I'll be somewhere playing the guitar. I'm thinking of buying one. I don't know how long I would take to learn. My friends around me are all musically talented while I can't play a single instrument. Would be cool if I could play what I want to hear.
And what about you five or ten years from now? Where will you be, and what will you be doing?

In five years hence I shall hopefully be coming to the finale of my MSc at a prestigious university (Londond, Cambridge, Edinburgh, St Andrews, or any others I might apply to...).
And preparing for entry to RMA Sandhurst if I pass the Regular Commissions Board. If not, preparing for a career in the Diplomatic Service.
In ten, I shall be, like Somebody Else, wherever Her Majesty's Government decides to post me. Or I could be endeavouring for a post in Her Majesty's Government by standing for a seat in parliament...

Well in about 5 years I have hopefully finished my High school Cum Laude and will be in a university somewhere in Holland ( Amsterdam ? ) or maybe even somewhere in the US,England or another country that I'm interested in.
The only certain fact in the above list is the university bit, the rest I'll probably depend on the results I get the following years.

In five years, I'll be living in London, and coming to the end of my medical degree, unless something goes horribly wrong.
In ten years I'll hopefully be a doctor, working in the NHS, and doing my bit to improve the health of the nation. A pretty wife and flash sportscar would be good too, but decidedly less than certain, I should imagine.
Tiberius-no, that's incorrect. You can apply to six universities, including either Oxford or Cambridge amongst them if you so wish. You may be getting confused with Medicine or Veterinary Science-if you apply for one of these courses, you can only select four unis.

Well you'd better make your mind up because if you are on the government payroll you can't stand
This IS the future as far as I am concerned. And I seem to be in an office at 7.15 pm. Be afraid, kids. There is a disappointing lack of rocket bikes and colonies on Mars too, which I am sure back in the 70's we were promised we would have by 2000.

Always great pics soly. As for me, assuming I don't die (yes, you will all eventually die) I am hoping to have returned to or at least have enough resources to visit Romania bi-annually.
In ten years? Probably single and living in a small cabin in the woods again.
Plus ca change - plus ca reste la meme.
Soly's coming to Montreal? That's my town! Gah! He'll be taking all the chicks. Again.

In the near future, 6 months or so, I'm planning on moving into a large house with 3 or 4 work mates.
In 2 years or so I'll probably be moving to Bristol.
5 years? Probably still in Bristol.
10 years? Who knows, I'll be 41, it'd be nice to immigrate somewhere hot, failing that I'd like to be back in Scotland.
In 5 years, hopefully after having successfully completed my degree, I shall be touring the parts of the world I have wanted to for some time now. (Mongolia, Eastern Europe etc)
In 10 years, hopefully working somewhere in the political process, as part of a pressure group or think tank or maybe even with the Labour party, I don't know.

Wherever I am ... .
I'll have developed expert skills in data warehousing and business intelligence and will hopefully be applying them with astonishing results for a worthy and appreciative company, in a beautiful and interesting place, with fun and intelligent people.
I'll be enjoying a balanced life of productive work and leisurely play, including plenty of time spent out in the great outdoors (far, far away from urbanity). Oh, and certainly enjoying the hell out of the latest games on a mind-blowing PC.
I'll be keeping in touch with my 47 Ronin and Hunter m8s, and all my other online friends, and hopefully, planning the day when we can actually meet and hang out.
I'll be playing and composing music again, wih renewed vigor after these years of self-imposed musical celibacy. The good part is the new gear. The challenge will be all the practicing needed to get back in shape comparable to where I was when I stopped playing.
I hope to be far, far away from lil screamin' kids, nagging females, bitchy cats, completely mental family members and ... New Jersey. Gah.

Five years: After getting a dual bachelor's degree in a combination of Philosophy, Linguistics, or Political Science, I will hopefully be coming back to England for a masters or two.
Ten years: Law degree under the belt, or some Doctorate. Starting a family probably (what an odd thought). Not entirely sure, If I don't end up in Law, I will probably end up in some business or real-estate stuff~:( Hopefully, I'll be in Madison, New York state somewhere, Boston, or London (some combination would be nice too.)
