i'm just assuming that if they have the ability to invade militarily, as long as they've had their flu jabs or their software isn't compatible with macs, they'll win.

i mean, they can stand off in orbit and annihilate us if they choose. Paris, Mexico City, Singapore, London, Toyko, Mumbai, Moscow and New York later the only role i will fulfil is contributing a light dust coating to the ruins of our cities.

You know, there was actually a very good series of alternate history books by Harry Turtledove about an alien invasion during the height of WWII. The did use some nukes, but as their goal was colonization, they couldnt change the surface into a radioactive sheet of glass.
