Discworld noir and the beautiful world of xp

I’ve just pulled this terrific game from under the dust.
Problem is that it doesn’t seem to be very xp compatible.

I installed dosbox, but that program needs an exe,bat,or com command to run a game.
Discworld noir only has a tin3_dxd description.

Anybody know how I can get this to run under xp?:help:

Have you tried setting you something simple like a shortcut to the game executable and configuring the shortcut to start the game up in Win98 compatability mode?

No it’s the first discworld game.
I know there is a solution because I used it about a year ago.
Problem is that every site who had the answer appears the be offline now.
