Campaign Lockup

During the 3rd or 4th turn of an Imperial Campaign the screen briefly freezes while processing other factions moves and then returns me to my desktop, EB completely closed after that point. What is going on? The background script was on both times. I tried the Romani and then the Greeks with the same result. RTW installation is fresh, 1.2 patched, .72 installed, .73 installed on top. My computer is a typical Pentium 4 machine with XP Media Center. ???

What faction icon did it crash on. It was most likely Ptolemaioi, if so there is an easy fix which can be found here (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?t=62273).

Yeah, we are trying to hurry with a save-game compatible hotfix that will solve almost all of the CTD issues we are currently experiencing, but it can never happen soon enough. :grin:

If you're constantly crashing in 272, it is likely the bug fixed in the link which is posted above.
