Is it possible to have a the promotion of a family member to faction heir dependent on a certain trait?

yes and no... you can make the person faction heir and not allow him to get the trait 'faction heir' til he recieves the trait you want but i am pretty sure actually choosing the faction heir automatically makes him the faction leader if the current faction leader dies... if you understand me :dizzy2:

I think the family member with the most influence gets picked as faction heir when the old leader dies so you could add influence in a trait for the person you want to be faction heir next. Not sure if that is what you meant though.
