Routing banner question

Is there any way to have the rebel routing flag for a sub faction be different than the faction's routing flag? Generally they are the same style (eastern is eastern, for example), but if I had a faction with a really unique battle banner, but it would not be one shared by their rebel variants, then when they route, both the faction and the rebels must share a routing flag. SO if my faction really cool unique banner (with alphas in weird places) is the one the routing banner is based on, the rebel routing banner for that same faction is going to look retarded.

I guess there is no way of getting around this. Basically the shape of your faction's banner ought to be the exact shape of that faction's rebel subgroup. Otherwise you'll have goofy problems when one of the two routs in the game. Any neat workarounds for this would be appreciated. :grin:

Yes. Just specify it in desc_banner.txt in routing_texture

Right, but the routing texture will have to be the same for the faction and for the faction's rebel variant too. I'm trying to have a different one for each of them. I don't guess there's any way to do that that I know of but if you can see how this can be accomplished, please let me know.
