So anyone following them?

Scotland did very well at the pools last night... 2 golds in Swimming.

I'd like to see more of the Rugby 7's... The semis are Australia vs NZ (go Kiwis) and England vs Fiji (go Fiji).

Unfortunately, living in Britain, it's all on at some ungodly hour in the morning, however I've been watching the highlights and it's been very good and exciting so far.

The rugby 7s has been fantastic, and I reckon it would've been even better were the 6 nations not going on at the same time (I sniff a southern hemisphere conspiracy~;) ). I think it's made a very good case for future inclusion in the olypmics, especially considering some of the sports they play: 'handball', volleyball (beach and normal), softball, TWO eastern martial arts... Rugby (15s or 7s) deserves inclusion.

I'm looking forward to the rest of the commonwealth games though, they're always a little bit special.

The Mother Country has been doing very well. Scotland gained two golds and a silver yesterday and England gained a few golds today.

I found myself watching the female triathalon at about midnight the other night, and tried to tear myself away. But there was something mesmerising about all those lithe females in tight lycra... I can quite figure out what it was though! :inquisitive:

Yeah, that Vicky Pollard is well fit!

How come you Ozzies aren't totally dominating the pool this year, I realise Thorpey is out, but I thought you guys would still be winning everything?

It was the year of the ladies... 16 gold to them, 3 to the men.

Thorpe isn't the only major contender that is sick or injured. Hackett is out, and a lot of the others are no where near peak condition.

The English Athletic team is doing very well.

Yeah, only because the yanks aren't there.
You've gotta be pretty pleased with the Ozzy medal tallies though, boy you guys know how to play sport!
I heard that your papers were saying that you should split Australia into territories as NSW won more medals than any other nation in Manchester! :help:
