First off, 0.73 is loads of fun. Still, Ive been having loads of CTD with it, so i decided to completely reinstall, hoping that would solve my problems. I uninstalled everything, restarted and proceeded with a new RTW, RTW1.2 EB0.72 and then EB 0.73. both times now that i have attempted this process everything works up until .73. When i attemp to start the game with .73, i get the error: Generic Error: Unable to find skeleton 'fs_fast_foot_archer'

can anyone help me? im goin in sane here and have spent the last 2 and half hours trying to get this working. thanks!!

That (initially) sounds like one of the downloads for the new files must be bad. That is not an error message that has been reported yet I don't think.

A problem which prevents you from running EB at all is indicative of a bad or corrupted download or install.

The CTD problems you noted are probably known issues which will be fixed in 0.7.4, as we talk about here (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?t=62485).

ok, well ill try a few other sources, but i tried both the official HTTP and FTP downloads and both gave me the same error because i suspected this might be a problem...i believe last time i had gotten it to work ihad used the FTP source as well....oh well ill keep trying... just seems odd that two sources would have the same error.

It may not indicate a bad download, it may indicate a bad install. Make sure your installation steps include deleting the existing RTW directories after you uninstall the old version. Bad files are left behind which may ruin future installs if they are not deleted.

And always delete map.rwm just in case. In the imperial_campaign directory.

ok, so im a dumb ass, i was downloading the hotfix for those who already had the .73 download. wow. mark me as one dumb ass who now is not worrying about why this game is not working and enjoying the game
