I been told by a High Ranking Sith Member (I will not disclose names) that GS (Gamespy) will Give RTW MP the Boot within the next 3 months or so, making a statment this upcoming week..insider news the Sith guy told me,

is this true??

Interesting news Warman. Probably incorrect though imo.

It is possible to create fake servers like was done for Shogun or something?

(I'm a total noob to servers and dynamics behind mp play)

I doubt it seeming as far as I am aware the MTW servers are still running and BI is less than a year old and so there is no reason for the game spys ervers the be shut down.

Although the RTW MP is not what it could be at times I still very much Game Spy would do this.
And yes monarch I beleive a fake server would be possible if thsi was ever to happen although there would be no need as it isn't going tob e shut down.

It might be a possibility... I mean, RTW multiplayer isn't all that popular (So that there won't be some many angry bitching fans), and the amount of bandwith could be used somewhere else.

I doubt it. The Medieval servers are still online, and I highly doubt if these servers will be shut down.

I doubt it's going to be shut down. Just rumours which have escalated I expect. It could happen, sure, but I doubt it.
